What an amazing property! If I could give more than 10 stars, I would. We stayed in the Cabernet cottage/suite which was this cute apartment. We saw Kangaroos on the property, and it was so quiet and peaceful amongst the vineyards. The bed was so comfortable with high quality bedding. The full hot breakfast was excellent, and we really enjoyed visiting with the hosts. I would highly recommend RDC for your stay in the Hunter Valley!

The property's Cellar Door is open daily from 10:00-17:00 where you can enjoy a relaxed tasting of boutique wines, handpicked from McCaffrey's Estate vineyard. There are also chickens and ducks onsite, providing fresh eggs for guests as well as plenty of kangaroos to watch in the vineyard.

Location was central to the local wineries and restaurants. Hosts we very friendly and approachable. The pool was amazing. It was great to see the kangaroos in amongst the vines in the morning.
