Modern design, welcoming friendly staff, comfortable and very clean. Great included breakfast too. Excellent central, yet quiet location in Santa Cruz, just a few minutes' walk from where the 500 airport bus drops off and picks up. Close to main shopping streets and seafront with lots of cafes, shops and restaurants. I can highly recommend this small, friendly hotel.

Sabrina and Fabian served and are terrific! Friendly, inquisitive, helpful, and alway genuinely smiling and upbeat. Bfast was excellent, esp the warm and very French croissant. The hotel location is close to the heart of town but just enough out of the way to minimize noise. Nonetheless, we slept like babies on comfortable beds and pillows in a generous sized corner superior room.

My sister and I made this trip to visit the birthplace of our abuelo. We found the city charming with many good restaurants and shopping choices. I loved sitting at the Plaza de la Alameda to people watch amid the lovely palms and flowers. The black sand beach was stunning. We took took a tour to the Cumbre Vieja volcanic site with a side stop of The Virgin of the Snow church. A hidden gem! Our family name is based on goat - be prepared for some steep slopes but lots to see along the climbs.

We had previously visited La Palma in 2020 but stayed on the west side in Los Lllanos. Principally a walking holiday. Santa Cruz gave us access to different walks using different bus services - we do not use hire cars. Santa Cruz is a lovely town with plentiful supply of bars, restaurants and shops. Very busy when a cruise ship is berthed though. Good town beach.

Compact city, all on walking distance - though the further you get away from the seafront, the steeper it gets:)
Public parking is a bit cumbersume, but there is an underground parking for reasonable prices (eur 10,50 / 24 hr).

It was a good stay, the location is on top of the hill with a nice view. It requires a bit of physical exercise to go on top. The breakfasts were very nice with good choice of the continental and local dishes.

It's a very nice and welcoming city, wedged between the canyons and the Atlantic ocean.
La Palma is lush green.
Ideal for hiking in the mountains, to see the stars, to swim among lots of fish.
The roads on the island can be very steep and narrow.

We had visited before & our friends had not.
We had visited before & our friends had not. It's a lovely city. We used it as a base to drive around all of the island, but left ourselves plenty of time in the city itself. We had dinner all 4 nights at different restaurants. It is clean. We found everybody friendly. It's a walking city, with a long promenade, cobbled streets, lots of history.

There is barely a thing not to love about Hotel San Telmo. The location is convenient for walking to the pedestrianized streets in the historic center, the room and common areas were beautifully decorated, the beds were very comfortable, there was air conditioning (which isn't common and made for a great night's sleep), the proprietors were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was fantastic. The two hotel cats we met were entertaining and charming. Of the places we stayed during our 10 day trip, this was my favorite.
Location was amazing, very central and quiet even though you are in the heart of the city. The layout of the house was also nice as even though its a tiny home its very authentic and has retained its charm. Fully equiped for your stay.
The local beach is worth visiting and also has great connections for all the buses across the island. (We have been to all canary islands and hands down the easiest and best buses from all of them) 2.60 for all journeys and you can see the island in 2 or 3 days by bus alone.
Very nice hotel, simple, bit dated, but great price, with the kitchen corner with ocean view and the little terrace with little table and chairs, very very clean, absolutely recommended, I have to say it's quite noisy because it's on the main Avenue of Santa Cruiz, the cars, pollution when u sleeping during the nite with the open windows because there is not Air conditioning, but for short stay it's been perfect
Fantastic location, near Castillo de la Virgen and a few minutes walking to pedestrian city center and beach of Santa Cruz de La Palma. Also fantastic view on the Atlantic ocean. The house and the terrace were very nice, very calm neighborhood and no difficulty to find parking place in front of a local administration building.
For those who like sunbathing, the second upper terrace is amazing.

The location in Santa Cruz de La Palma is excellent. You can walk from the port or the bus stop of the airport and it is in the middle of the town.
The capsule was surprisingly comfortable and very clean inside. It is a weird type of accommodation, but not a bad one in the end. It is like a dormitory where you can have extra privacy.
What an amazing place. A beautiful old house, wonderfully restored, in the centre of Santa Cruz. I absolutely loved spending a night here. Only slight issue was in trying to unlock the door - the hotel has a remote concierge so nobody is on the premises. However he answered my phone and soon appeared to help! I'll definitely be back.
Reception was close after 11pm and my ferry was late. I knew this and received all relevant instructions (how to get in etc.) beforehand.
Old colonial building in downtown Santa Cruz de la Palma right in front of the market.
Free continental breakfast.
It was our second stay in the hotel so we knew what to expect. There are not many options in La Palma and this aparthotel is good value for what it offers: large room with kitchen and separate bedroom, parking garage and good breakfast.
The room was very cosy and clean and the rooftop had a great view. The breakfast was delicious. The staff is so nice, friendly and helpful. We will definitely comeback to this hotel!
The small hotel is in a central location, quiet, friendly & helpful staff, decent continental breakfast and a pleasant terrace with views. Two friendly cats were a bonus.
The hotel was walking distance to beach, stores & restaurants. It also offered an delicious breakfast & staff was delightful. Our room had a terraza & that was a plus.
Warm welcome by host at 11:30pm after we arrived by evening ferry. Located close to main streets, clean room having all you need for stay in Santa Cruz de La Palma.
