We did not do breakfast because you had to book it the night before. Location was good.

Location is fantastic. We stayed in one of the cottages as we booked a family room. Breakfast was lovely. It was very busy but our breakfast was cooked fresh and we didn't have to wait that long. Excellent value for money. Also free parking.

Very nice host, and very responsive to any messages sent. Very Nice inside, it’s comfy. Couldn’t stay the entire night due to a family emergency sadly! But for the time we did spend, it was a cool little place! Definitely worth a stay. Very clean place!

Lovely picturesque town, plenty of shops etc
Down side absolutely shockingly no transport!!!
You have to get a cab and that was almost impossible, they really need to improve transport links, I had to book a cab from abergavenny which cost a small fortune just to be able to catch train home.
It's better if you drive

From the town with independent shops to the breathtaking walks this is a lovely place to spend some time to take in the Welsh scenery. There is plenty of parking and places to stay and prices are reasonable. The museums and community centres are not to be missed.

Our visit to Brecon was to meet friends and celebrate a milestone birthday. We had a fantastic bit short trip and regretted not having more time to explore the town more as well as the local countryside.

Spent two whole days sightseeing in brecon itself.
Spent two whole days sightseeing in brecon itself. Other days went out to visit, wales ape and monkey sanctuary, Henrhyd waterfalls were well worth the walk down the shale track, visited Blaenavon mining museum and visited Aberfan. Each route had ideal motorcycling road and spectacular countryside views. There are also other places to visit but did not have time to visit them all. Would recommend the area for views and for walkers, lovely spots for picnics. Absulutely fantastic

The hotel was clean neat and tidy. The people on reception were polite & courteous. The restaurant food was good.
There is no service between lunch and dinner - so it means a trip out if you need a snack.
I was using the hotel as a half way stop so didn’t explore the area.. sorry.
This Inn has the perfect location for discovering Brecon Beacons. It is very conveniently located, making it easy to access hikes, to visit local restaurants and pubs. But what stood out the most is the hospitality received from Gail; throughout our stay, she went above and beyond to help make our stay perfect. She has such a fantastic energy and it made our experience in Wales unforgettable. Thank you!
staff were very friendly, full breakfast cooked perfectly and service with a smile by possibly the friendliest and nicest person we met in Wales. (she was also smoking hot, which was helpful).
The room was ok, a little creaky but what do you expect.
the area was nice after a long ride though the Brecon beacons on our bikes we found a nice place top eat as we were a little late for the hotel.
An exceptional guest house in a perfect location in Brecon. Very comfortable and well appointed. The attention to detail is impressive - for example the milk kept in the fridge for tea/coffee. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the use of pre-ordering meant you got exactly what you wanted freshly cooked. Parking close to the town centre was a bonus.
Bed was very comfortable, room was really large and spacious, and had everything we needed. Wi-Fi was fast. Coffee and tea outside on the landing was a nice touch, as were the complimentary toiletries provided. Shower was hot and powerful. Lodge was very warm and cosy. Parking was really easy, and good location to be able to walk into Brecon town centre.
Great location. Really comfortable and spacious en-suite room. Our room afford dual aspect views of the narrow boat canal/marina and the Brecon Beacons. Rachel & Sid were very welcoming, helpful & super hosts. Breakfasts were very good. Lovely conservatory & garden to chill out and enjoy the spectacular landscape.
Spacious comfortable room, good bed and pillows, pleasing decor, fresh & clean, lovely breakfast options all well-presented and tasty. Parking available just a few metres away. Convenient (temporary) place for the vehicle during loading and unloading. Secure code to the front door. Feels safe.
Pete was very nice and friendly and cooked an excellent breakfast for us in the morning with vegan pancake. He was also very helpful for us in planning our walk up Pen Y Fan. The house is a short walk to town centre and 20 minutes drive to Pen Y Fan car park. Very good shower.
A nice room though outside the actual hotel building.
Good evening meal.
Good breakfast.
Situated beside Brecon Castle high above the town, but in easy walking distance.
We saw notices stating that this listed building had applied for permission to upgrade the facilities.
Very cosy and warm especially in the weather conditions. Everything you could need in the kitchen, including condiments and nice to have milk and welshcakes waiting! Great location and accessible for Brecon and the Beacons and South Wales.
The Longhouse at Hilltops Cottages was an absolutely perfect place for us (2 couples) to stay and explore the Brecon area. Wonderful location just outside of Brecon town. Spacious, well equipped, clean and quite cozy.
continental breakfast was provided, all in the room on arrival. Location was ecellent both for getting into Brecon town centre and for getting to surrounding places of interest. when going upstairs
It’s a beautiful place to stay, the room very comfortable, there’s a great common area to have a drink and catch up with other guests, and the breakfast outstanding.
Mary was a delight to talk to. Her gardens in her yard were absolutely stunning. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in that area.
