Going to see the sunrise at Tiger Hill and Everest peaks...
Going to see the sunrise at Tiger Hill and Everest peaks were a bit disappointing as there was a fair bit of pollution and cloud, so not clear to see. Very cold as well, waiting for sunrise, but plenty of vendors selling hot drinks.
Sherpa Tensing Norgay’s house is a must see( although I didn’t as I became ill), as is ‘toy’ train, which is a narrow train that chugs up and down through nearby towns.
There is a huge Body Shop as well.
Tea plantations are interesting but not open all the time.
Clothing is fairly cheap, especially puffer jackets.

City of Darjeeling has as such nothing to visit..
City of Darjeeling has as such nothing to visit.. Entire town streets full of warm clothe shops and nothing else.. however, nearby places are good as usual.. this is my 5th time to the place and not new.. people with 3-4 days time can explore various places, talk to nature, enjoy the cool bridge..
Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, and great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of the hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, and roomy with excellent service where we had dinner. The food was good and great value for money and the service was attentive and efficient. The room itself was well-equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

This hotel is absolutely superb ,the room are spotlessly clean and comfortable, thanku to suresh bhaiya and her wife how they maintain this hotel. The most important thing i like this hostel that they are pure vegetarian and in darjeeling getting pure vegetarian hotel is very difficult. It is great and enjoyable time for me and my family to stay in this hotel.I would highly recommend to everyone to meet them and book this hostel. If in future i ever come to darjeeling i book this hotel only❤️.
The place was very poor, the room rent was different, in this much we could have stayed in Darjeeling, there was no use of living 15 km away from Darjeeling, there was a lot of trouble in commuting, the place is useless, and the room rent shown in online Goes there is taken more than what is charged on arrival, money is taken forcefully as if snatching, booking.com is a thief application which traps the customer by telling less room rent and charging different (higher) room rent.
Everything was Superb Right from Entering the Premises we were greeted with Welcome Darjeeling Tea The Checkin Process was Smooth and Rooms weer excellent The breakfast was superb Only one problem we need to get up a steep rise to get into the Hotel which may be inconvenient for the Elderly people The food was excellent and rightly charged Value for Money was there for everything
The stay at Darjeeling Heights Homestay was wonderful and so was the view from the hotel. The most amazing thing was the behavior of the staff there. They were very welcoming and nice. We really enjoyed our stay there and the staff really made it very homely. The spacious property is very tastefully decorated which made the ambience warm and cozy. And last but not least, the cooking was very delicious.
The location is in front of Darjeeling station so if you want to book share a car or book a private taxi it's easy to do. Room is ok as per price. The mall road is 15 minutes walking distance from the hotel. I booked a room under 800 rupees. staffs are ok. No complaints on staffs. If you need something tell them, they will help you.
I wanted a pocket friendly, clean place to stay away from the hustle bustle of darjeeling but not too far from the mall. This hotel is nothing fancy but we got n Excellent view of the kanchenjanga range from here...its quiet n clean. The best thing was they provided a bed warmer and that was so so cosy.
Tasteful building and rooms. It was used to be a colonial house back to the 19th century, full of historical episodes and background.
Small, family like atmosphere and hospitality by the hotel staff.
Convenient location, near from the famouse darjeeling Mall but quiet in the hotel building.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable and the staffs were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Darjeeling
Will surely stay here again on my next visit.
Cheers to the staff and the owner
Better stay at batasia loop instead of darjeeling..darjeelingis over crowded..here incredible scenery....and hotel is located at perfect place...awesome view from roof and balcony, very clean, and the best thing is hospitality. Above all superb!
Clean and comfortable rooms in a heritage property, very close to the center of Darjeeling but still quiet and secluded, wonderful staff, this hotel had it all. When we wanted an off-menu dish for dinner the staff obliged.
Nice place to stay, Staff and Owner are also very friendly. They treat us like a friends. I felt very comfortable at this place. I strongly recommend you that when u visit darjeeling, always choose Hidden Monkey to stay.
This was the best service. The food was awesome. They have the vehicles to pick and drop service from the hotel to the Mall road. I liked their shower gel and they gifted me 2 extra. It means a lot. Value for money.
The view of the hotel is extraordinary. It is the best place in Darjeeling. You will just enjoy the stay here as it is easy to travel to all places from here. I will definitely visit again especially to stay here.
