Walking distance to almost everything. Nicola took care of breakfast and always had something yummy and different. We love the beer. The restaurant is good. This was our second stay and we will be back.

Rooms are nice and clean. Bathroom is a bit on the small side but very clean and it has a good shower. Love the idea of free coffee and tea. Easy access from the train station.

Surprisingly great visit - a walkable and bikeable city full of architecture and history, with lovely squares and cafes/restaurants. Definitely visit the brewery Het Anker and the Beguinage (small area within the city full of beautiful old streets and an interesting info as you walk around).

Mechelen is a nice city to explore, many options for children and cosy & good quality food options. Architecture and museums also.
I would love to be back when the weather is warmer. The coffee places and bars are quite inviting for a more outdoorsy day.
Really enjoyed trip.Attractive city..lovely architecture ,brilliant variety of shops. Some attractions shut, not a lot of parks or green areas.Cobbles everywhere, bring comfortable trainers!Brilliant eateries if you drink beer…very limited wine choices. Not a lot of variety of restaurants.Lovely wide streets with attractive water features and trees.Problem understanding menus as no English versions at all!

Unfortunately I visited this city while there was a lot of construction going on and a fun fair was in the centre blocking all the beautiful buildings. I think it would be better to visit earlier or later in the year and check if construction has finished.

Beautiful town tidy and clean, close to all amenities like good restaurants kiosk train station
We went to a place were there is a lot and different restaurants we had many options of dishes. We eat at Irish restaurant.
I liked the location of this property, very close walking distance from Mechelen-Nekkerspoel. Therefore quite easy (and early) train options to reach Brussels Airport (BRU). Walking distance to old city centre with beautiful square and some (beer) cafes and restaurants, shops.
Check-in guy, a Filipino, was friendly and accommodating, plentiful information available and in for a casual chat too.
Room size is large, and the premises are a quite lay-out. It's not a hotel, also common public is living there in this building.
The Suite is located in the centre of Mechelen, in a very quiet area (no city noise). The Suite offers overwhelming space in two parts: lounge and kitchen on the one hand, and bathroom and bedroom on the other. Good bath and shower facilities, lovely wide bed, good air conditioning (even in the heat) and, above all, all the facilities you could want in a hotel room. The breakfast box was amply stocked with everything that makes a continental Sunday breakfast iconic. Finally, nice parking facilities.
Stay at Elisabeth was the best choice for staying in Malines for 2 days. The city is pretty and clean, the hotel is well located close to the center, it's new, the staff is kind and ready to explain everything you need. The swimming pool is amazing, a cool place to relax. I will stay there again for sure or suggest it to my friends.
The staff was very helpful (and kind) and came to action when we had a problem with the acoustic of the bedroom - we got immediately a new room and they even gave us the possibility to choose among 2 or 3 options (of course we were lucky that there were bedrooms available). Location of the hotel is perfect!
The hotel is located at a relative small, quite square, near the city center and 10-15 minutes walk from the main train station. My room was good and gave a nice few on the square. The nearby city center has a rich history and many places to eat and drink.
The breakfast was a superb spread and comes delivered to your door in the morning in a sweet picnic basket.
The hotel is very well-located and Sally the owner is extremely helpful and went over to ensure our comfort. Cannot recommend enough.
Excellent boutique hotel. Felt very new and clean. Incredible few of church across street through floor to ceiling windows especially at night when it was lit up. It was also a pretty close walk (10min) to train station and easy to get to.
The hotel was situated close to the centre of the town, which made for easy access to most sights. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good with a variety of different food to choose from.
On hot days an airconditioner would be nice. Sleeping with open window is no option since the hotel is located on a busy street. Otherwise very good value for money
