Panoramic house was amazing! My first time in NZ from Australia.
I found this on booking.com as it was so close to where my partner and friend wanted to surf at Shipwreck Bay which was about a five minute drive away. The hosts Jo and Phill were so so lovely and welcoming, we will definitely return. The views were absolutely stunning too.

The cabin was roomy and had many windows for comfortable air flow. Beaches were less than 10 min away and the main lodge was stocked with heaps of amenities and food for purchase.

Unit 16 - Very tidy and well presented. Had everything a couple needed for their stay. Even had a couple of biscuits which is a nice surprise and a small container of real milk unlike those little brown ones often found in Hotels/motels. Staff were very polite and friendly. Numbered parking right outside the door with outdoor chairs.
This guest house provides a garden as well as barbecue facilities. There's free private parking, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service.

Cool wee settlement with iconic views up the entire 90 mile Beach. Kaitia offers services that are nit avalailable here only 20 minutes away.
Hoons driving recklessly on the beach spoilt the experience a little.
7/10 so worth the effort to visit.

Ahipara is a small town right on the Tasman sea. There was a herd of wild horses wandering the beach. The surfing looked good too. I enjoyed the quiet relaxed ambiance of this place and would recommended it over the busier bigger town of Kaitaia.

Ahipara is a beautiful part of the far north, we had great weather and good surf. Loved the apartment, it was warm & spacious, well appointed and beautifully kept.
A fantastic location overlooking the Tasman Sea. Stunning sunsets. Handy hint, don’t put the kettle on the hot stove top it will melt the bottom of the kettle, cost for new kettle $95 🤣

Ahipara is an awesome coastal town - great for fishing, surfing and outdoor lifestyle. Local superette has all you need. Plus Bidz takeaways are great for fish and chips. North Drift Cafe has excellent coffee and reakfast/lunch menu looked yummy although we didn't eat there. Overall Ahipara is a relaxed and enjoyable place to stay.
Breakfast was awesome - we usually have a monster smoothie at home - so we ordered the "uncooked/continental" breakfast our first day & it was enough for our 2 day stay :)
The Hotelier was most helpful - we were disappointed with the room that was booked through Booking.com & while there were no front/sea viewing rooms available, we were given a room at one end which had a view of the main part of Ahipara beach & Shipwreck Bay - & we could hear the surf - excellent! And we were quite happy to pay the extra $.
Easy access with lockbox. Beds were pretty comfortable. Outdoor seating was fantastic, with great views over Ahipara beach! Cooking facilities were very welcome, pretty well stocked. Quite and private. The inclusion of the map of the cape and advice on what to see and do was a very thoughtful addition.
loved the location, and also loved that the outside of the lodge looks villa like then when you get to your room it’s really modern! I absolutely loved that and also the………to die for! one of the most comfiest motel/hotel/lodge beds I’ve ever slept in! would definitely recommend!
The view, access to the beach, extras available, overall The haven was a beautiful room to sit and relax with our visiting whanau as we prepared for a family wedding. It felt like a home away from home and would highly recommend to anyone I know visiting Ahipara.
Guesthouse with a great vibe, comfortable rooms clean and plenty of shared facilities.
Location right across from the beach is excellent including a side beach view from our room with a bonus when you see the Ahipara horses graze right outside of our window.
The panoramic beachfront view is spectacular. There are wild horses on the beach most of the time. Just beautiful! We stayed upstairs at the Haven. Beautifully appointed. Lacked for nothing. The water pressure in the shower was magnificent.
Very comfortable and clean, small but perfectly equipped and stylish. Drop dead beautiful view over Shipwreck Bay. Hosts and family lovely, brought a fresh baked loaf of be rad our first day. Beach nearby and gorgeous. Highly recommend!!!!
Adam was a fantastic, friendly host who made us feel so welcome. We loved the hut, including its mod cons and all the extra home comforts. The view was spectacular too! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Ahipara : )
This was my second time staying., firs t was with a roof top tent last year. Ahipara is a lovely place to stay and the Holiday Park is conveniently located, very clean and quiet and I can take my little doggie too.
The Ahipara location was gorgeous and the view from the deck was amazing. Having the whole top floor (apartments 1 and 2) was great. Apartments were very comfortable and well maintained. BBQs were very handy.
Nice and Cozy home with a beautiful view of the Ocean. Outdoor gated area for the children to eat and play and perfect location within Ahipara. Watching the Sum seat behind the Mountain every night was amazing.
Location was right on the beach with a wonderful view. The property as well equipped and very clean. While it was a studio rental we found it quite roomy for two. The adjacent laundry room was very welcome.
Beach right in front… quiet street. Perfect location. Extremely clean. Owner on site. Great advice on where to go, what to see and what to do. Beautiful layout. Large kitchen well equipped. Two fridges.
Wonderful location. Just up the road from the beach and high enough for you to see far across the ocean. A good indoor and outdoor flow with a nice beach feel to the place
The view from the hotel was breathtaking. It would have been a much better experience had we got the rooms with a front seat view of the bay and its surroundings.
Close to 90 miles beach and beautiful view though not from the room. Hotel was fully booked for Xmas day. Room has a kitchenette and separate bathroom.
