Absolutely stunning resort. Former villa transformed with colonial influence into a grand hotel. Staff were attentive and helpful. If you want a less crowded and more relaxed Bali experience, this is definitely the place. Only 30 mins from Ubud and 45 from Denpasar on the black sands of Keremas Beach. There isn’t much else to do but relax by the beautiful infinity pool with a cocktail!
When we visit Bali again, we’ll come straight here and avoid the overpriced, over crowded areas like Uluwatu.

The staff were so lovely and the homestay was kept really clean and well maintained.
The fridge and kettle in my room was great and I appreciated the shared kitchen facilities also to make smoothies.
They also had a common tv/Netflix area which was a bonus too.

Great value for money accommodation which includes breakfast. Lovely walk through the rice paddies to the beach, the nasi goreng was delicious and a bargain. Rooms were simple and clean with kettle, coffee & tea.

for good pool, nice rooms good reasonable food yes Price for rooms too high maybe. Not much to do but relax! You are a 600.000R round trip to not much,,very littkle shopping,, Surf Classes Ihe beach is for Surfers no Picture Blue Bali Water Greybeards!
Excellent surf spot offering slightly better weather (less clouds than the other coasts in my experience). Up and coming area with lots of new developments happening. A great place to spend your money and invest away from all the chaos of Sanur etc.
Black volcanic sand beach. The famous White Sands beach a short drive away

We already miss our large private quite friendly beautiful villa at Desa Swans!! # 16 is great!! And we just left today. A home away from home with a private pool!!
We are now in a tiny beach hut with semi working air conditioning and semi poor customer service :(
I don’t know if we will return to Bali but if we do we’d love to come back to Desa Swan. We are visiting our son who is a surf coach with a month off and the surf was excellent in Keramas.

Keramas/Saba is a quiet seaside area with minimal development although this looks to be changing.
The beach is black sand and not one you would want to laze about on. There is a lot if plastic rubbish at the beach access points. It is a surf beach.
The area we stayed in, Saba, was quite isolated and you would be best to have your own transport.
Ubud and Candi Dasa are an easy drive away.

This was our first time to Keramas and we loved it.
This was our first time to Keramas and we loved it. Keramas is away from the hustle and bustle. There were local restaurants along the beachfront, food was great and very affordable. If you prefer, there are also fact hotels with beach front restaurants, just be prepared to pay a little extra. We loved the uniqueness of the volcanic sandy beaches, which weren't busy at all, and there were plenty of surf-able waves. We didn't venture from from our accomodation at the Keramas Surf Camp, so unable to review outside of the beach area.

The territory with a garden is very beautiful, like a paradise. But outside the territory there’s nothing. Free transfer to the beach which is a great option as it’s 40 min away walking, 8 min by car. / Didn’t except dollars, didn’t have a currency exchange mention on booking, internet didn’t work properly in the room, coffee machine was broken, had to wait to long for an answer, clean but a bid dusty rooms, windows impossible to open, terrible pillows, couldn’t lock the door. No one really cared about unlocked door of the room). The beach is cool for surfing, not swimming. Black sand is a very beautiful thing) sunset is great on the beach
Beautiful little villa with patio in a tropical garden, private jacuzzi and big bathroom with outdoor feel. The villa is decorated by pieces of artwork from host’s own art collection and his own paintings inspired by Balinese nature and people. The place is in short walking distance from Pantai Saba, which is still authentic beach with wild nature feel and black sand. Great place for relaxation and long walks. Fantastic spa massage place only 300 m. The host of Villa Koi is very generous, hospitable and inspiring person.
I was stayed there for Maybank Marathon, the location very near towards Maybank Marathon start line, this is the best place if you're looking for the hotel for maybank marathon. Only 7 minute from lobby to start line used the shuttle car, after race the breakfast was still available, breakfast closed at 10.30 am, enough time for marathoner, a then we enjoyed the safari journey that the price already included. Staff are very nice, good attitude, cheerful and helpful. So fun and so nice place, see you next year 👍
Our room view was good, but outside was so humid, that in the evening our window didn’t show through. Animals in the park were amazing. Dinner was tasty and lions shows the people, who is the boss in this park. Staff feels animal-friendly. There was lot of things to do in the morning, but i don’t like any animal shows, even if they are animal friendly and made of ethical considerations. Breakfast was abundant, but one of us got Bali belly 🫣
The Keramas Moonlight Villa is gorgeous! You can tell the owners John and Ratna take pride in their property.
The details of the building, the food, the staff…everything is wonderful.
You are very short walk to the beach and fun surf.
There is even a brewery right next door with delicious beer and food.
I would (and hopefully will) stay in the villa/hotel again.
This place is amazing, and it gives you a great privacy if you're looking for that, the staff is extraordinary and extremely kind, the only problem in this place that it's a little bit far away from Bali's activities, but that shouldn't be a problem if you're planning to relax and enjoy the beach and the nature, this place will give you unforgettable memories.
I like the hotel very nice and beautiful territory. good spacious room with bath😍 I like the balcony and in the evening on balcony can listen the sound of the ocean.
Fast room service, nice food.
swimming pool is nice too.
from the hotel it is comfortable to go for a walk cause there are embankment near the ocean
The place, food, quite importantly the best and friendly staff. Everyone of them are so friendly, it's hard to differentiate who is better. The true balinese culture of humbleness, kindness and ready to offer help are the hallmark of the people
The room is well equipped. The bed is large and comfortable. The breakfast menu was varied every day. The staff is helpful and they can arrange motor bike rental if you want. There are two food corners near the hotel and a minimart.
We have booked a 4 rooms villa for our 7 people family trip . My family enjoyed the villa very much and we had a great time in Bali . The villa is spacious and well designed , a perfect spot for quiet vacation.
Big room. There is Bali Safari not far from the hotel. The staff serve well. Big swimming pool. There is a beach near the hotel. The hotel's restaurant cooks well. A very good place for beach rest.
great location close to surf and food, wonderful and kind staff, comfortable and quiet rooms, naturally beautiful and great space for hanging out!! loved everything about this place
