It is a very small town.
It is a very small town. Do not expect a lot of action there, in fact, if you do find another place! However, if you are looking for a quiet place to sleep, swim, eat, and repeat, then Mimice is the right place for you. Expect tight parking spaces, in fact, once you park, leave it there, chance is you will not have it if you move. Prepare to walk up the steep hill to the store, and there is no bank (there are few ATMs) or drugstore (pharmacy for those Continent minded). Few restaurants and bars are all it offers. Omiš is rather close, but again, if you move your car the parking place will be gone unless you book your stay with a few places that have an exclusive parking spot.

Mimice is a very small place on the Adriatic highway only 15 minutes from the city of Omis. It is a silent village, not much to do as nightlife. But that is why lots of people choose it. Mimice are great place to stay if you seek relaxation and rest from everyday life. There are no clubs, pubs or anything noisy, and basically it becomes empty and silent at midnight. Yet, if you want to go partying or similar, it is close to Makarska, Split, Baska Voda etc.

A very small village with two beaches, one a little bigger...
A very small village with two beaches, one a little bigger then thee other. Nothing to do in the evening except going out eating at one of the two restaurants. Restaurant Val is the one that we picked most evenings, the other one is at the local beach hotel. The Croatian food is totally taistlees compared to the European cuisines we are use to, so we got really board of the local food. I have been to Mimice three times now in short stays and one longer and I can say it aint a very service friendly place, they live out of tourism and at the same time they are grumpy and sometimes rude without any reason. Like my wife took photos on oure children from a beach bar 10 meters from the water and one man working in this bar told her in a very rude way that she should not take photos. Almost ended in a fight. Mimice is a quiet place but there is much better places to stay a few days in.

Mimice is very calm town. I recommend for those who look for calm holiday without head on head. For young family I think it is little bit boring but all night life you can find not far in Omis, or MakarskaJanaCzech Republic

Lili and Mario were wonderful, friendly, kind hosts. We loved the relaxed vibe of the apartments and the haven that Lili and Mario have created. Of all the accommodation we have stayed in in Europe on this holiday it was definitely our favourite place. It was perfect!!! When we asked about near restaurant not only he have us information, but also porposed that he will grill fish by himself for US, which was really delicious. He shared many helpfull advices with us, not only about Croatia, bu also on rest of our trip (Bośnia and Montenegro). Place was near the great beach, was was roomy and tidy with all things that were lusted in description. I trully recomend stay therw, as it was the best host i ever met.

Place / apartment sutaible for families with kids, apartment nice and big with 2 bathrooms, just a few steps from sea and nice and clean Kutlesa Beach. Mimice are very small village but all you need is there, bars, restaurants, shop, if you are looking for quiete place for family holiday, it is just best place. For sure we will return back! View from balcony is fantastic, we enjoyed just staring at the waves :) Stunning. Air conditioning is a life-saver during the day, and during the night you may also sleep in the comfy bed with windows open - listening to the waves :) Mimice is very quiet during the night - it is really relaxing to stay there. Great restaurants all over the place and a supermarket, super convenient. The staff was just incredible kind and helpful to us the whole time, even borrowed us some beach accessories. It was super clean and comfortable.

The hotel was cleaned and there were enough dishes and detergents for use. You could also take beach chairs to the beach for free.
