Furaveri island was very clean, rustic and they did their best to be environmentally friendly. Beaches were as good as any I have seen in the Maldives and were cleaned better than most. I.e. there were people, every morning, removing any debris brought in by the sea and wind. Very good.

We visited the Emerald Faarufushi Resort and Spa at the end of January 2024 for our 30th wedding anniversary. We would like to compliment the whole team (management and all the staff) at the resort, for a truly unforgettable experience. We left the resort with countless priceless and very happy memories. From arrival to departure every aspect of our holiday was well taken care of. Just amazing… paradise, perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach and swimming pool. My son loved it. Book seaplane for your transfers, great views and quick. Beach Vila number 613 very nice. Beautiful beach just in front.

Very obliging and friendly staff who took care of everything from the moment we landed at Male airport until the end of our stay. The food was very good especially the breakfasts. Absolutely first class!
Absolutely first class! What a treasure, as close to paradise as you will get. The seaplane was the start of the adventure, and it never stopped getting better, so much so we extended our holiday. Apart from the stunning villas, fabulous restaurants and beautiful surroundings, the biggest contributor to our exceptional experience here, was undoubtedly the most wonderful staff who work so hard to make everyone’s holiday as memorable as possible. Elite, our villa host was outstanding, looking after our every need, such a warm and beautiful person, we really wanted for nothing in his safe hands, we were made to feel utterly spoilt. We also loved the special treatment we received from Joseph, the sommelier and his superb and knowledgeable team, making every wine experience such a fun treat. And wonderful Fawzi who greeted us daily at the Aqua Restaurant, and delightful Dasha, thank you both for your sunny warm hospitality. How marvellous too, to get to know Rao, such a rare breed of hotel manager, always accessible, always on hand, genuinely involved and taking so much care and interest ensuring everything is perfect throughout our stay. This was an incredible holiday for us in a truly remarkable resort. If you are reading reviews and trying to make up your mind as to where to stay, then really, look no further. And don’t be put off by the small number of reviews, the resort is brand new. We cannot recommend this utterly outstanding place more highly and are already planning a return visit.PeterUnited Kingdom
