Taurito is located in the south of Gran Canaria with its own beach, restaurants and shops. Walkable. Some apartments up hill. Water park, mini golf and bowling too. Small village vibe. Close to Puerto Mogán and Puerto Rico - both pretty and fun places to visit. We liked the small beach in Puerto Mogan and restaurants there too. Took ferry from Puerto Mogan to Puerto Rico 20 min. (Also goes to Anfi and another nearby town) Bus easily accessible. We rented a car and drove. Restaurant at Taurito Vista apartments where we stayed is private and amazing! Ordered seafood paella the day before. Also loved the stuffed mushrooms. Pool very nice.

It was better than we were thinking because the bad reviews before. We saw a lot of cleaning stuff and all the area is in normal condition. There is no a lot to do there, but if you have a car, you could visit the Amadores beach and Puerto Mogan very easily. We saw a lot of people hiking up the mountain towards Puerto Mogan, but didn t do the hike ourselves.

There is a nice little waterpark that could be fun for younger children. The location on its own has a lovely wide beach, some restaurants and souvenir shops. If you want some more character Puerto de Mogan is your best choice.

Taurito is over populated, run down , out of date and tired . Also cut off from beautiful Mogan that is not even a Mile away due to a permanent road closure since 2017! Buses are cheap and regular but not to Mogan . A taxi costs 18 euros to Mogan one way , there are a couple of buses there early morning and late afternoon only .

Perfect family break.
Perfect family break. Anything not available in resort was easily accessible via a short taxi ride. I would recommend exploring all the local beaches/ resorts. If you're looking for more to do in the evenings then you'll definitely need to head off to Puerto Rico 12€ taxi ride. Great hotel, good variety of food. Very good service all round.

Very nice place for a quiet relaxing holiday. Very hilly so you need to have good mobility. Relaxing but not a big choice of shops or restaurants around. Good taxi service from the hotel. Cost about €12 to €15 to areas that have a bigger selection of shops and restaurants.

Although there are no big stores and mainly hotels and pools in Taurito, the Princess Mogan hotel was enough. they also have a souvenir shop in the hotel, great drinks and also fun events in the evening. The food was great and you had a lot of choice. The staff was so friendly. Since we booked all inclusive, we also had free access to the beach bar. We had a Shuttle service, which bought us to the beach and back to the hotel (although its nit far away ~ approx. 10/15 mins walk). That was fantastic.VidusaGermany

It is quite easy to get by bus to the amazing and popular Amadores beach as well as to Puerto Rico. We rent a car and visit other beautiful places at the island, It is easy to reach them from hotel location (Puerto de Mogan, Maspalomas, Roque Nublo, Santa Lucia.
