The rooms were very nice and clean. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Beds are very comfortable. They made airport transfer very easy. Very close to the bikini beach and away from the busier part of the island although the island is very laid back.

There aren't enough good words to describe the lovely little hotel that Silver Oasis is. It feels more like home. It is super clean, tidy, and the staff from Sri Lanka are the kindest, most patient, and thoughtful people. The Chef is an outstanding cook! The prices for both the hotel and the restaurant are great. The breakfast is always different, interesting and delicious.
The location is perfect - you get a wonderful view of the ocean right out of your window, The jetty area is just a few minutes away by foot. The bikini beach is around 15 minutes by foot. The island itself is small and everything is relatively close. we didn't need a supermarket and such things so I don't know if there is one.
