One of the calmest places I’ve been to!
One of the calmest places I’ve been to! It’s featuring beautiful landscape and very few people (we were outside of the high season). There are a lot of attractions such as snowmobiles, skiing slopes and cross-country skiing tracks - a lot of them! Also, there are a lot of options for activities such as dog sledges 😉 one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to, definitely recommend!

Easy access by plane from Belgium; direct flight - perfect! Perfect service at the airport from the car rental company; our car was already warmed (-25C outside when we arrived). Ylläsjärvi is a beautiful place with lots of good cross country skiing tracks and possibility for downhill skiing as well. Worth visiting especially if one adores nature and quiet!

Good place to spend a couple of days in Ylläs.
Good place to spend a couple of days in Ylläs. Decent breakfast served on mornings. There is a dedicated ski wax room which is very handy for X-country skiers. A heater in the drying room was not functioning 5 days out of 6 (of our stay) and no attempts be personnel were done to fix it. It was rather annoying thing since it is actually a 'sport' hotel, where majority of guests are coming for either alpine or X-country skiing activities. Rooms (for 4 persons) are small.DShFinland

Rooms are nice, well equipped and specious. The hotel has a nice exclusive luxurious feeling to it. The buffet breakfast was nice, although its bit far away from the annex, but not much pain. We visited in summer but location has definitely left me with a want to come back in winters.

You can pay additionaly for 1h private using sauna, jakuzzi and ice swimming, since the location of hotel right next to frozen lake. Nearby you can rent snowmobiles and snowshoes, there are nice trails on lake and through the forrest.
