We enjoyed the small selection of restaurants and bars at Meloneras Beach and the greater variety of restaurants in Meloneras. We also loved the walk along the promenade from Meloneras Beach to Maspolomas

Avoid ,Avoid ,Avoid
No way 5 star barely a 3 star !! restaurants are like run down cafes , staff are very nice but obviously do not enjoy working in this chaotic regime, noise in the bedroom is ridiculous, may as well leave door open, ok for those who want to be woken up at 6.30am but then be prepared for no coffee making facilities in room , even if you ask for a empty cup , honestly it is a 5 euros charge 😂😂 ,hot breakfast is stone cold , for coffee the machines are so dysfunctional that to enjoy hot coffee you have reheat yourself and use the microwave provided next to machine (as though it’s normal) My complaint only received awkward laughter & was told by the manager this is our standard customer experience and his acknowledgment was “yes I know it’s sub standard”. The pool is supposed to be heated and it is definitely not , if you expect a sunbed in the sun then join the early morning 6am stampedes..This place is “ Unique “it’s a total Joke Do not waste your time and money , we checked out on day two and booked a real 5 star hotel for the remaining five days holiday in perfection warm pool , hot coffee in morning and a room that .

Very nice place with a long boulevard all the way up to Maspalomas (about 2,5 -3 km). Nice restaurants and shops at the boulevard and beautiful resorts. Save place with a lot of possibilities and good bus transport to other cities in Gran Canaria.

Very nice location in the south of the island.
Very nice location in the south of the island. Great restaurants at the promenade. Nice beaches. It is windy so if you really want to swim you should be careful or go to the western part of the island. Bus stop is nearby and you could go anywhere by bus. Many shops at the promenade. You can get anything. I would absolutely recommend. Watch the sunset at the beach.

Fabulous hotel but kind of like a 5 Star prison camp!
Fabulous hotel but kind of like a 5 Star prison camp! There were no water stations BUT you could not bring your own water into dinner. All water had to be bought from the hotel at a cost of €2.5 for 500ml. The water always arrived open so for all we knew it could have been from a tap.
Likewise at breakfast, you could not take your morning cup of coffee away from the dining area (say to sit somewhere more pleasant to drink it or in our case to take to the room so that we could follow the events of the Queen Elizabeth II's death).
The only dining included in the HB option was the buffet, both breakfast and dinner. I'm not a fan of buffet mostly because the food is generally warmish and not particularly exciting. This 5 Star hotel's was exactly that.
It is a big hotel with lots of guests to accommodate. There are ample swimming pools (all fantastic) and whilst there are ample sun beds they are packed in like sardines.
All this being said, we did have a great holiday but would not go back.
The staff in generally were very friendly and helpful.

Meloneras is a lovely area especially for sports: cycling, walking, running along the seafront or swimming in the sea or the pools. Unfortunately due to the current crisis many places have closed down however, there are still good places to eat and drink in the area : try the Italian cafe/restaurant bar at the top level of the Meloneras Playa shopping centre opposite H10 hotel for a drink, coffee, snack or meal all freshly prepared, delicious and good value for money with friendly staff!
We loved just about everything here. The facilities, restaurants, and grounds were kept exceptionally clean and in great condition. Food was generally pretty good and was good value for what we paid (half of board). Eating at the hotel for lunch or room service was very affordable. It is located in the quieter part of the island and while the beach and dunes are a short walk we preferred to enjoy the many pools available on site. There were lots of pool loungers with parasols available.
Location is superb. Hotel is very clean and quite chilled out which is lovely. Interestingly, no pool person and this actually worked exceptionally well. Less stressful, no one grabbing your towels and each person taking responsibility. There is ample room so no need to grab seats etc. Towels are changed only three times a week so this is better for the environment and again guests take responsibility.
Room service nearly every day left without towels in toilet
No coffee machine in the room( they charge extra for to get cattle and coffee every day )
No iron in the room
Free mini bar included only soft drinks- no alcohol at all
Change mini bar only every second day only
No explanation from staff about hotel spa gym
Bad English for most of the staff
it’s 5 star hotel ????
Very spacious, big master bedroom with lots of storage space, big second bedroom with some storage. Nice living and dining area inside. Patio for outdoor dining and private outdoor garden with space for sunloungers. Very clean and comes with everything needed for a week away self catering. Within walking distance of supermarket, shops, beach, and ample restaurants.
We planned a long weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday. The facilities exceeded our expectations tremendously - from the pools, the restaurants, the beautiful rooms, to the shopping centre right outside! I would return there anytime :) The highlight of it was the entertainment organized by the hotel every evening - definitely pleasantly surprised by it.
Great service and excellent food. Chilled out hotel with lovely surroundings. Very clean and comfortable. Good evening entertainment. Our main waiter was Oscar who was superb!!! The pool side bar with Maryela, Enriques, Maria and the others was also great. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Comfy beds too!
Beautiful hotel inside and out. Very professional staff that were attentive. Buffet was very good. Loved the 3 different pools to visit and the lovely gardens. Fabulous location that you can walk out to the beach with controlled entrance.
Very friendly staff and clean apartment. Also food was better than 15 years ago when we stayed here last time. The supermarket inside the hotel is also well equipped and prices are not sky high like sometimes could be in similar shops.
-Beautiful design gives a much better first impression of this hotel than it actually is. Don't be mislead by pretty pictures.
-friendly hardworking stuff, but that is not enough for compensate for the bad experience
It’s really comfortable and clean, everything is in very good condition. About the location, it’s close to Meloneras beach and the property pool is excellent.
The customer service was excellent, great communication
Great location, really close to a large beach. Access to shopping and restaurants. The rooms are spacious, and have a luxury feel even with a standard room. The hotel staff are very accommodating and friendly .
The hotel is architecturally stunning, beautifully decorated and maintained ideally located near the beach and shopping. The room and bathroom were spacious and luxurious, could not be defaulted.
property is in a very quiet location, very close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops.
Property is very clean and everything you could need for a self catering holiday
Hotel is well maintained, well equipped, and staff was nice and helpful. This is a family hotel suitable for young kids. Mostly quiet rooms. Location is near the beach and some shops.
Great location in Meloneras, quiet, and a short walk from the promenade by the sea and the Faro. Extremely well equipped, very clean on arrival, lovely garden terrace.
Location is great, close by the boulevard of Meloneras, good restaurants and a small supermarket. A huge and cheap supermarket (Mercadona) is about 10 min. walk away.
