To resume those wonderful 7 days in Port Ghalib Marina Resort, I would say it felt like home. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times, the room was tidy and clean every day, provided with very good food options, the space at the reception is gorgeous specially at evenings before dinner with live music. I will definitely go back. The beach with the coral was so amazing to me, that I couldn’t get out of the water to enjoy the rest of the resort, such as the swimming pool, gym and other facilities. I felt part of the family at the “Wonderful Dive”. A big shout out to some members of the staff: Ibrahim from the reception, Fahzer at the towel desk at the beach always so careful, Antonio from the Italian restaurant, and so many more who showed professionalism, kindness and dedication in the past week. I see you all very soon. :)

Large and beautiful hotel. Public spaces, pool, bars, restaurant look gorgeous and luxurious. Food is OK compared to other Egyptian hotels. Rooms are spacious and clean. Very close to the Marina complex with some shops, bars and restaurants. Apart from the beach, pools, water sports and diving there is not much going on in Port Ghalib and surroundings.

Room was nice, clean and a good size. Softer pillows were provided on request. Cleaned well every day. Drinks - alcohol; spirits of poor quality so stuck to (very weak) cocktails, wine which was just ok and beer which varied in quality. Fresh squeezed orange juice and good coffees available for breakfast. Food was ok, a wide choice although little different from one restaurant to another. Pools good, beach ok for sunbathing and paddling but for several days plagued by sandflies - not the hotel's fault but we had to abandon the beach for two days as they were quite bad. Staff were good making a real effort to be friendly and helpful. Reps selling spa treatments and trips were too persistent, and the line "where are you from?" became very old!

The Marina Resort Port Ghalib is a beautiful hotel located right on the Red Sea. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the pool area is large and well-maintained. The hotel also has a number of restaurants and bars, as well as a spa and fitness center. Emperor Divers is a well-established dive center with a fleet of modern boats. The staff are friendly and experienced, and they take great care to ensure that all divers have a safe and enjoyable experience. I did a variety of dives with Emperor Divers, including shallow reefs, deep walls. I saw an amazing variety of marine life. I had an absolutely wonderful time diving in Port Ghalib. The water is crystal clear, the visibility is excellent, and the marine life is abundant. I would highly recommend Port Ghalib to anyone who loves diving. We used the resort as a transit stay on either end of a Liveaboard trip, 2 nights before we sailed and 1 night after. It is perfectly located to get to and from the boats, and just a 5 minute walk to the marina. I would definitely recommend a stay here, and I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. The staff are extremely attentive and arranged a club car drop off for us when we boarded the yacht.
