Airlie Beach never fails to impress me, gateway to Whitsundays. Airlie beach hotel is awesome for live music and fantastic food. Definitely recommend KCs too for their live music and awesome steaks. Airlie lagoon is a great spot to spend an hour or three swimming or just lazing about.

Always a good trip to Airlie.

Always a good trip to Airlie. Weather was a bit wanky but otherwise great, plenty to see and do regardless. If you are keen on some outdoor and open water activities, Airlie is the place to be. Family-friendly with a great night life for the single crowd, there's something for everyone. Plenty of great places to explore, a variety of food options, and an overall great town for the general day to day. Living less than 2 hours away does make it a go-to for a quick getaway, and choices range from camping to hotels to Air BnB stays, there really is a place to suit everyone. Town is always vibrant and busy with something going on.

What a great place to visit.

What a great place to visit. The weather is great, the town is abuzz with great bars and restaurants. The Airlie lagoon is a great place for kids to swim. The Coral sea marina is a magic place to hang out at night to relax and enjoy some fine dining. The Garden Bar, Sorrento and the Rocks are great places to start. Getting around Airlie is so easy. Taxis run constantly and are readily available. Most resorts run shuttles 3 to 4 times a day into the Airlie lagoon and airport transfers can be organised depending on the where you're staying.

    I Need Airlie Beach!

I Need Airlie Beach! It has destressed me many times after extreme personal or work stress. The view, the perfect water temps in unheated pools, the ten minute rain storms that give way to a perfect day. It is better to stay at Airlie Beach, in my opinion, than on the islands, as they offer greater amenities and diversity, plus you still have to charter a boat from an Island or the mainland anyway. Tip for the island resorts: Offer discounted or all inclusive water charter packages and advertise it heavily, or find yourselves derelict facilities bought by a Chinese Company. Always check the weather. Bad weather or Coral spawning night means poor water clarity. Don't swim where the locals won't, due to crocs and Wear your Stinger suit. A box jellyfish came within a foot of me a week ago before I saw it and I have been snorkelling since 1985, spending countless hours and a total of four weeks camping on Lady Musgrave Island. Don't book during the wet season if you are not prepared to be dissatisfied with a patch of bad weather. Do your research.

Alarm bells should have rang when I looked at the photos, one photo of the room the rest pretty photos of bathroom products… only. Straight away we knew we’d been hoodwinked as soon as we walked in 7H. I’ve stayed in ‘cheap’ hotels before but the cost vs product ratio is disproportional here. I’m the sure the staff are friendly but they’re employed to sell a crapper on a hill with nowhere to go… we were out by 6AM… I refused to step into the shower spa, gave me the creeps… I’d rather drive home stinky…

The location is great, other than being on the same property as the Magnums nightclub that is LOUD! I loved Airlie Beach and it's nice to have a cheaper accommodation available. It's nice to have a tea kettle and mini fridge in every room, as well as a full scale kitchen available. The grounds are nice, with lots of plants. It's adjacent to a big Woolworth's so that makes cooking easier. The bed comes with a sheet, which is nice, but the comforter is reused between people and was not clean.

The location is so handy, you can just take a walk to Cole and walk around the tracks, and very convenient to just get a taxi to go to Airlie beach, many great restaurants and we really love and enjoy Saturday market stalls. We love the place and the people were so happy and friendly there and I can see that everyone is working so hard there. The whole place is awesome, I would recommend our friends to come to Whitsunday and stay at Mantra club croc.

The hostel is right in the middle of the heart of airlie beach but set back from the road amongst the jungle. Everything was super clean, the kitchen was so so clean and well organised! And the stay was so cheap (just had the standard twin room), aircon and kettle in the room too and $5 pppn bag storage for our boat trip. Not noisy either. Thanks so much!

The staff went out of there way to make our stay special. We got engaged whilst in airlie beach, and when a planned proposal helicopter was cancelled-the hotel worked with my fiance to make a plan B work. Also when we went out for dinner that night we arrived at the restaurant to a complimentary bottle of champagne from the hotel!!! top class.

The hotel is the most fantastic place to stay in all of Airlie Beach. It is truly magical, full of beautiful energy and contact with nature. Leonie is loving, super attentive to everything and super hospitable. You can really see the love and attention to every detail. It recharged my energies, you really can't miss staying here!

Just follow the instruction that was sent via email. Use coding to get the key. The email said it has 2 keys/duplicate key but when we arrived we got only 1 key. When finally going home, there's another set of key that they just put. I like being accessible to the main or heart of Airlie Beach.Excellent location.

Lovely space to stay while in Airlie Beach. Pool was nice to relax around. Close vicinity to main area (bit of a walk up the hill on warm days- but cheap to get a taxi back if needed!). Reception staff were always very nice and organised airport shuttles for us. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Location is perfect for Airlie beach being firstly on the top floor giving great views out to the Whitsundays. Secondly the Boathouse apartments are positioned close to both the Port of Airlie (Ferry and cruises) and to main eateries area of Airlie Beach.

This was a wonderful base for a week in Airlie Beach. A beautiful apartment with sea views. Clean. Friendly staff. Nice pool area for relaxing. Shuttle bus was handy as the hotel is a little outside of town (and up a big hill) but still walkable from town.

Good Location in Airlie Beach but rooms were very dingy and outdated. Rooms were equivalent to a motel but were much pricier. You can get a way nicer hotel for the same price.
