Airlie Beach never fails to impress me, gateway to Whitsundays. Airlie beach hotel is awesome for live music and fantastic food. Definitely recommend KCs too for their live music and awesome steaks. Airlie lagoon is a great spot to spend an hour or three swimming or just lazing about.

Always a good trip to Airlie.

Always a good trip to Airlie. Weather was a bit wanky but otherwise great, plenty to see and do regardless. If you are keen on some outdoor and open water activities, Airlie is the place to be. Family-friendly with a great night life for the single crowd, there's something for everyone. Plenty of great places to explore, a variety of food options, and an overall great town for the general day to day. Living less than 2 hours away does make it a go-to for a quick getaway, and choices range from camping to hotels to Air BnB stays, there really is a place to suit everyone. Town is always vibrant and busy with something going on.

What a great place to visit.

What a great place to visit. The weather is great, the town is abuzz with great bars and restaurants. The Airlie lagoon is a great place for kids to swim. The Coral sea marina is a magic place to hang out at night to relax and enjoy some fine dining. The Garden Bar, Sorrento and the Rocks are great places to start. Getting around Airlie is so easy. Taxis run constantly and are readily available. Most resorts run shuttles 3 to 4 times a day into the Airlie lagoon and airport transfers can be organised depending on the where you're staying.

    I Need Airlie Beach!

I Need Airlie Beach! It has destressed me many times after extreme personal or work stress. The view, the perfect water temps in unheated pools, the ten minute rain storms that give way to a perfect day. It is better to stay at Airlie Beach, in my opinion, than on the islands, as they offer greater amenities and diversity, plus you still have to charter a boat from an Island or the mainland anyway. Tip for the island resorts: Offer discounted or all inclusive water charter packages and advertise it heavily, or find yourselves derelict facilities bought by a Chinese Company. Always check the weather. Bad weather or Coral spawning night means poor water clarity. Don't swim where the locals won't, due to crocs and Wear your Stinger suit. A box jellyfish came within a foot of me a week ago before I saw it and I have been snorkelling since 1985, spending countless hours and a total of four weeks camping on Lady Musgrave Island. Don't book during the wet season if you are not prepared to be dissatisfied with a patch of bad weather. Do your research.

This place is very convenient for catching the ferry to the islands or reef. It's pretty basic but is quiet and the pool area is beautiful with lush plants and two different pools to choose from, although a rain storm prevented us from trying them. The front desk staff are outstanding, and set it apart from other local hotels. Sharon helped us with getting a taxi and storing our bags while we were on the reef. And Georgie booked us the airport shuttles. Thanks ladies, you're lovely!

Every single staff member was so friendly, the rooms had what you needed and a full kitchen and lounge area for everyone to use was great for cooking with stove, condiments, every electric appliance you could think of. Extra blankets and towels were no problem, the pool area was awesome with the kids and so much better than a hotel. We will be back for sure, so close to shops and short drive to Airlie Beach centre

Staff very helpful and friendly and very good quality/ price rate. Affordable accomodation in Airlie Beach, as most of the accomodations are expensive and the place is quite average, so I find that paying big amount was not worth it. That’s why I chose Kipara. The hotel has also a very good kitchen to prepare dinner. The WC was OK. The Whitsundays are very nice, but Airlie has nothing much.

the view was breathtaking. The infinity is quiet something to behold, each apartment overlooks the impressive pool, with the amazing backdrop of the waters off Airlie Beach. The lift from reception to the apartments comes up from underneath the pool onto a boardwalk going over the pool. Yes I’m going on about the pool and you will see for yourself why if you stay at Martinique Resort.

The apartment was huge. Felt like a true home away from home. Bedroom had a separate verandah. Both verandah's had a fantastic view over the town to the ocean. Very comfortable place to stay. The bedroom air-conditioner was the quietest I've ever experienced in a hotel room. The gym and pools and spa were all excellent. Staff were very helpful. Everything was great.

When we arrived to check into Airlie beach Hotel, we received a free upgrade. We were given a beach view room. The location was perfect, close to everything and it was not noisy. The room had great curtains to block out the sun and the bed where unbelievably comfortable. All up I have no complaints about our stay, it was all we needed and full of great staff.

The staff went out of there way to make our stay special. We got engaged whilst in airlie beach, and when a planned proposal helicopter was cancelled-the hotel worked with my fiance to make a plan B work. Also when we went out for dinner that night we arrived at the restaurant to a complimentary bottle of champagne from the hotel!!! top class.

Rooms and view from the balcony are amazing, the staff are very accommodating and it's a short walk into the main part of Airlie beach. The pool area is tidy and a great way to cool off and tan. The hotel is very accessible with taxis just a button push away and they will handle travel to and from the airport for a very reasonable fee.
