Easy check in and stay. I didn't use other facilities but the room and car park, but they were good.

The apartment was so lovely and comfortable, clean and spacious. Plenty of parking and the staff were lovely
Even has a shop on site
The bedroom we were allocated was not the one I had booked.
The bedroom we were allocated was not the one I had booked. We were in the original Hall in a rather drab room with very high ceilings . The bed was enormous but the mattress too hard! I had messaged the hotel requesting a softer mattress but had no reply and obviously no action had been taken. This hotel is obviously geared up to weddings and similar events. They had had a wedding fair the previous day. We only saw two other couples so I think it was more convenient to keep us in the main part of the hotel rather in the more modern annexe.
It was very spacious and would suit someone looking for a period type of property. The grounds were lovely- and in summer they would be a joy.

I was visiting a friend and needed a hotel close by.
I was visiting a friend and needed a hotel close by. This is a lovely place to stay as it's close enough to the motorway to get places, but far enough away that you feel like you're in the middle of the countryside. Nice Thai restaurant up the road from the hotel, village has a few shops and a leisure centre (not been in so can't comment on it). Nice place.
Staff excellent and very friendly. Good food. Evening meals were lovely. We had 1 meal in the restaurant and 1 in the Bistro bar.Breakfast was good. Room was a suite. Very comfy bed and large en suite. Overall a very chilling stay. Definitely worth a visit. Handily placed for Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Cannon Hall Farm and National mining museum. All just 10 mins away. On our last night we ate out at Valentino's in Scissett, literally 5 mins from Hotel. Absolutely can recommend this restaurant. Superb.
Great location for visiting the sculpture park or I guess if you were attending a wedding at the nearby hotel. Beds comfortable (Although the bunkbeds are really only suitable for a small adult or fairly young children.).
Everything was very clean, the bathroom and kitchen were modern and a hot tub was an added bonus.
Nice view from back over woodland
The bedrooms and bathrooms are really clean, there are plenty of utensils/pots and pans etc. Having the dishwasher makes everything much easier too. The hot tub is an amazing addition as well as the great sized rooms and having enough seats for everyone in the living room. The area is great and the staff at the hotel are really helpful.
A beautiful, historic hotel set in absolutely stunning grounds.
The bedroom was very spacious and comfortable with a large en-suite
There was plenty of seating areas, outside where you can enjoy the views of the grounds
A lovely experience walking around the splendid grounds of the hotel.
Public transport links are very good.
A lovely hotel. We had to find a hotel for the night as Sheffield was full for #WEURO22 and we lucked out because Bagden Hall was great. Much nicer than the chain we spent the rest of the week in. Stunning location, beautiful building, and exceptional breakfast
Top marks, would stay again
The location and grounds are very good.
We attended a wedding and that was very good - well organised, good food - much better than the restaurant. The hotel is tired but the staff were very friendly and the bed was comfortable.
I have stayed here before. I rented the cottage for 4 weeks. The location is stunning. The staff are great, the hotel is dated and the cracks have been papered over so to speak. The food is nice, bar is good.
Ladies on reception were friendly and helpful. Room was lovely. The hotel is far enough from the road that it's peaceful and the view from the front room is lovely. Clean, fresh and pleasant.
