Marina was quiet in March but in the summer I imagine it could be hectic. Large selection of restaurants, all similar menus and prices. However the service and food was good in the few we went to. Plenty of staff

Vilamoura is a nice resort, we had not been there before, most activity at night is centred at the marina, where there are loads of restuarants and bars to suit everyone. Beach was lovely I would go back again, but definitley not to the apartment we stayed in , the apartment itself was fine but not the location or the very old run down building it was in. I would not recommend it to anyone .

Great location with fantastic restaurants around the Marina and the streets behind. Easy to walk everywhere, plenty of shops and supermarkets in addition to local businesses. We loved the atmosphere and the warm welcome in bars and restaurants. Weather was constantly warm and sunny, average 26 degrees for 1st 2 weeks in October. I Cesteiro fish restaurant were we had turbot as a favourite, along with The Fisherman’s Shack, Rodizio & Sal & Fogo, all amazing food and service

I have stayed in Vilamoura many times and simply love the place and its vibrancy, great restaurants and bars. I would personally recommend one bar especially to visit and that is Als Bar a very high standard and great drinks with stunning bar area with a superb host namely Al. This bar is just off the Marina behind the road where the taxi rank is situated in a square with 4 restaurants in the vicinity.

Vilamoura is picturesque.
Vilamoura is picturesque. A marina surrounded by lots of places for socialising ie restaurants, bars, coffee, ice cream, shops etc. It also has a beautiful long sandy beach, as found in many Portuguese resorts. There are all types of accommodation available from 5 start hotels to Air B&B etc. I would say this resort is a little more expensive (to eat out etc) than other resorts in the Algarve. It’s very easy to get around on foot, plenty of taxis too if required. This was my 2nd visit to Villamoura. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and might consider going back, but, it would not be my (personal) first choice of resorts in Algarve.
The hotel was amazing. Staff were so so helpful, the breakfast was the best I have had on a European holiday. The Apartment was so well equipped. We travelled with our 1 year old daughter and all the hotel staff were so attentive to her needs and made this a very enjoyable family holiday. The hotel is a short distance out of the centre of Vilamoura but easy to get down to the beach and the marina using the shuttle bus, and I feel it’s in a much nicer area. Pedestrian access throughout Vilamoura is excellent.
Great hotel location for playing golf and only a 20 min walk into Villamoura. Free shuttle to the marina which we also used some days. Excellent breakfast in the mornings (we were on a b&B basis) and staff friendly, helpful and professional. Tried the spa once for the relaxation circuit (15 euro) but it was disappointing as the relaxation pools and large whirl pool with therapeutic water jets etc was luke warm and certainly not warm/hot enough to relax in. Only stayed for 30 mins so not worth it.
Loved our stay in Honorio, apartment clean and spacious. The pool area is very nice. All staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Victor. We arrived at the apartment early, and they were able to give us apartment straight away even though check-in was 4pm. Happy hour every day in bar and restaurant with delicious sangria on offer. Supermarket 10min walk away, Vilamoura Marina about 30 min walk, but uber only €4 to most locations. Would recommend and stay again.
We loved this duplex, the cleanest place we have stayed in, everything was top quality and new, everything was there that we needed even dressing gowns. There is free WIFI available too. The old village is a lovely mixture of houses and great bars with happy hour(3-6pm) wine 2euros! A nice walk to the Marina, beautiful surroundings of golf courses. Vilamoura is very lively even in February, a great resort.
The whole apartment was perfect we normally use hotels when we go to Portugal which is a few times a year, but this time we used Vila Lusa and we were all blown away by what we found.
Perfect location by the Marina and Alex was a lovely host can't think of anything that wasn't perfect.
Thanks Alex from Steve, Trevor, John and Mike.
We will definitely be joining you again in the near future. Xx
Breakfast was very good, restaurant was very nice, well laid out. staff were very pleasant and courteous. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The shower room was clean, well laid out and spacious.
The verandah was bigger than most I have seen at various hotels.
The location was close to both the marina and the beach, both being within 5/6 minutes walk
it was a pleasant surprise
Much better than the pictures show
perfect apartment for those on vacation with children
very comfortable overlooking the marina of
vilamoura and 2 minutes walk from cliff beach
you have access to the 5 star resort as if you were a guest with the advantage of the hostess giving great tips for the perfect vacation
I'll be back.
Breakfast at the Tivoli Hotel was great. Lots to choose from. Well spaced out for taking my son who is in a wheelchair. Hotel is great for wheelchair users. Plenty of disabled toilets. Reception were very helpful with meeting our needs for the bathroom in our room. Would definitely go back. Great views of marina from hotel.
Location is 15mins stroll into Vilamoura marina

Excellent location, very close to the marina with its nice restaurants and pubs.
Friendly staff.
