Loved it so much we have booked our accommodation for next year. The beach was lovely and perfect for the grandkids to swim and play. Snorkeling at the Wrecks was a highlight. Dining options are limited, only Fire and Stone restaurant and the Beach Cafe for evening meals. We ate out for lunch and twice for dinner in our time as we had full kitchen facilities in our accommodation to feed our family of 11.

Beautiful place , where beach and views speak for themselves...
Beautiful place , where beach and views speak for themselves . The resort in some places looks a little run down and the flexibility to accommodate non resort guests staying at houses at times can be frustrating.

Very few food options. Not good food.
Very few food options. Not good food. Very disappointing sea food. Staff were very nice mainly backpackers on work visas. The room was comfortable hot water good. Food was very expensive given the quality. Happy to pay for quality but appalling quality of seafood and asian option. I certainly would not waste my money going back to tangalooma. I would certainly not recommend to family fruend or especially overseas visitors.

Absolutely breathtaking scenery!
Absolutely breathtaking scenery! The Dolphin feeding was a huge highlight for us.
If you're an experienced swimmer/snorkeler/scuba diver, I wouldn't recommend those tours as they were too rigid and you weren't allowed to freely explore.
I would hire snorkel gear and a kayak and head out to the shipwrecks yourself! The wrecks and ocean life was breathtaking, so many fish, big green sea turtles and coral to see!
The fish & chips and bar were excellent! The asian restaurant was delicious, however, clearly overbooked with their poor wait stuff run off their feet!
In future I would probably book a better room and just hope that the pillows/beds are more comfortable than the resort unit.
The sunset over the beach was just magical.

Perfect holiday for beautiful sunsets. Pristine beaches.
Perfect holiday for beautiful sunsets. Pristine beaches. Snorkelling, kayaking and relaxing. The shop on the island is very basic and expensive so I would definitely bring more supplies if I came back like meat, alcohol and fruit and veg. There isn’t a lot of options for eating out. Overall we all had a great experience. The kids loved it. Resort facilities were good. If possible I would try and avoid being there when the cruise ship comes in as that day was hectic!

Tangalooma is a stunning holiday destination.
Tangalooma is a stunning holiday destination. So great for families.
Unfortunately it’s difficult to find out correct information and even harder to book things if you are not a part of the actual resort. Staff do not actually know much about the operations of the island and it’s possible to get multiple different answers for one question.
The villa we stayed in (21) was perfect. It had everything we needed for a family of 6. And with the most spectacular view of the beach.
We will be back.
Loved our stay at Villa 23 in Tangalooma! Hosts were very friendly and place was very clean!
It's super close to the beach, literally less than 80 meters away from the water. The views are absolutely stunning - you get to wake up to the ocean every day. Plus, there's plenty of room for everyone with a queen bed, 2 single beds, and a bunk bed in the upstairs hallway. For a family of 5 it was a perfect spot for a chill beach getaway!
ATV Quad bikes and dolphin feeding were amazing. The villa was very stylish and very comfortable. Close to everything and other family members that joined us in other apartments for the weekend. So close to the beach and the views were amazing. The Tangalooma Jet ride back to Brisbane was the best experience ever. I can't wait to do it again.
Lovely house in a great location. Breathe on Moreton is in a great spot to access the facilities on tangalooma and to access a little more space for more quiet times. We loved the rooftop at night to watch the storms and to see the stars we don’t see at home .
We had 3 friends in different Deep a blue apartments and some in the hotel style next door and yet more in the beach house villas and I think our deep blue apartments were the best by far!
The view, the pool, the location - all second to none!
This was a privately owned apartment not ran by Tangalooma island resort
Beach veiws, private garage, full size kitchen, plenty of room for the whole family, exploring the whole island with 4wd
We are a family of 6 and there was heaps of room for us all.
I think Villa 31 is the best located Villa at Tangalooma.
Lise was awesome and we will definitely be back.
It’s a beautiful place!
