The view of the ferries coming and going along with fishermen on the pier and pleasure boats passing bye was always something to see A seal swimming by. A tug boat pushing a barge, seagulls flying 1 ft. From our window. A true sea adventure

We loved the lighthouse and the park surrounding.
We loved the lighthouse and the park surrounding. We took the ferry across to Whidbey Island and grabbed coffee at Honeymoon Bay Coffee Roasters and wandered over to the little Clinton Beach Park. The weather was perfect. We also enjoyed our meals at Ivars and at the Diamond Knot Brewery. We had a great time and would love to go again.

There’s also a walking trail behind a hotel it’s pretty steep down to the Gulch, but there are some other ways to loop onto flatter trails. Also a nice canteen by the front desk – I bought ice cream one night for a treat in the room
