When booking, I felt the property was what one might expect in the 50's. However, because of the good reviews, we tried it. It did not disappoint in any way.
An outdoor pool, tennis courts, a golf course and restaurants are offered at this beachfront resort and spa. Free WiFi and plush bathrobes are provided in all rooms. Semiahmoo Park is adjacent.

The location is superb. The restaurant inside the resort is good regards location and food, but we don’t feel very welcome by staff.

I loved the charm of the house. It was spacious. It had all the things you need ie..linen, kitchen supplies, towels etc...
It didn't feel crampy or small. The rooms were good size. The master bedroom was big. The other room was small, but I didn't mind it. It was easy to find in Google Maps. It was close to the border. It was pretty easy to get in with the door code that was provided. Lots of windows to bring light in. We didn't have the heater that much on. It wasn't cold inside. Insulation was good in my opinion. Place was pretty clean.
Blaine is a great place to visit! Canadian crossing in town, wonderful beaches, fun shops, great state park with great forest, trail and beach, less than a hour--you will in the mountains, fun restaurants. Close to Billingham International Airport, if you are flying in.
Fun and peaceful at the same time!

Blaine seemed like a great town.
Blaine seemed like a great town. We were leaving the next morning for Canada so we didn't get to spend a lot of time there. Friendly people. We ate a a bar downtown. I forgot the name after my cruise. It had good food and good prices.

Blaine has always been a great place to visit.
Blaine has always been a great place to visit. The whole town is well laid out and very easy to get around in. I've always enjoyed my time there and even had my wedding reception in The Pastime Bar back in 1989. Blaine has a very relaxed atmosphere and the people are friendly and nice. It hasn't changed too much over the years which is just fine by me. I always look forward to my next visit.

The gorgeous Semiahmoo setting delighted us, (especially view; great pool); responsive staff too.
The lunch & dinner food at the restaurant was great! The large pool was exceptional, perfect temperature--large, comfortable locker room with nice products, sauna, steam room.
· There were a few omissions: no wine glasses, only one wash cloth when we got into room (but they got more promptly when we asked); also coffee mugs were small (they brought us bigger ones), fridge was set too cold and froze my fruit.
By the way there is a gap of time in the morning between 11:30 -12:00 when no restaurants are open on the property. Not too bad unless you wanted an early lunch.
Had a nice view of the water, easy access to parking and no key required so you don't have to worry about losing them while you're there! The lock is a key pad. Had plenty of pots and pans if you're into cooking. Seems that other guests have left some spices in the cabinets. Super close to restaurants and thinks to do in birch bay/Blaine.
The location it's walking 2 minutes to peace arch park. But don't try to sneak in the park otherwise you will face too many questions like movies. Hotel was nice peaceful no surround sound. Owner lady is very nice. As her for anything she was nice and smile 😃 thank you maan for spoon and plates
I stayed at this hotel on a work trip. The price was good, and I appreciated the location. A highlight would be the internet - it worked well, and was a reasonable speed. Also, the shower was decent, and quickly hot. Additionally, the room was clean, which is always a hope.
The hotel room was bare bone but clean, which was fine with me. It was surprising to me that it did not supply soap, shampoo, and basics that are standard in hotels throughout the US and most of the world. I used tooth paste as soap and didn't shower.
The room was Huge, clean, and comfortable. It was an incredible weekend. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It was a lovely stay. We will be back. I especially loved the bath tub as it was larger than the hotel norm.
Very quiet area only a short walk down to the water front. Unfortunately most of the beach is “privately owned” but that is to not fault of sea view cottage. We really enjoyed our stay here especially that we could bring our dogs
I love how the staff at this hotel make you feel. You feel like your every bit of the word RICH! Plus it is beautiful and so relaxing, from the hotel to the beach. It is an experience I will remember always.
Thank you Raintree!
After searching for a nice hotel in Vancouver and not finding what we were looking for, we saw this offering near the border. EVERYTHING was an upgrade from a city hotel when having a romantic weekend.
