    Williamsburg was great!

Williamsburg was great! We drove around downtown, and went to Yorktown , and Jamestown also. Lots of history!! We ate at the Roccos smokehouse, the collard greens are AMAZING, We also ate at the colonial pancake house... Decent food, but Crazy expensive for breakfast. ($5,99 for 1 glass of OJ) We hit up the outlet mall also, it was huge with LOTS of stores. All in all... we had a great trip!

A lot of shops were closed at the market place and the restaurants were also closed or short staffed which made a lot of people mad after talking to them as we walked around Williamsburg. They advertised that the stores were open all year

It' a great place to visit to get a real feel for the 18th century. Re-enactors are professional and convincing. It gives life to a distant age. Instead of seeing just buildings, furnishings and museums, you see how folks lived at high and low levels of society. The authenticity makes for a very memorable experience. You can go time after time and see new activities and items. It never gets boring.

We enjoyed both the historic area of Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. The main reason for staying in Williamsburg was that we had purchased annual passes for Busch Gardens. We started and ended our 2023 Williamsburg travels with Christmas Town at Busch Gardens. The Colonial Williamsburg visitor center was full of useful information. It also contained a large parking lot where you could catch a shuttle bus to many point around the Colonial Williamsburg area, including the Museum. Our family found the live character narratives to be quite informative concerning the history of Williamsburg and its place in US History.

    Everything was just fine.

Everything was just fine. Except at Busch Gardens so many of the rides were not up and running and the main show GLORIA had technical difficulties and we were unable to see it. The train also had problems and we had to get off of it after waiting for 15 minutes for it to take off. I think Busch Garden charges too much for parking and for meals.

    Williamsburg is such a treasure.

Williamsburg is such a treasure. SOOO many places to see and things to do, many which are free (e.g. walking around the Colonial area). There's tranquility if you want that, entertainment if you want that, shopping, spas, golfing, days worth of cultural activities, and HISTORY, HISTORY, HISTORY. We go every year during December to see all the beautiful, period-authentic decorations, and Grand Illuminations is not to be missed!

Rooms are clean with convenient bed configurations for families with kids (one of the few 2-bedroom options in Williamsburg with 1 king bed and 2 twin beds). A full kitchen helps us avoid the hassle of extra meals at restaurants with tired kids. Kids love the pool area with both indoor and outdoor pools and spas. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the ability to send requests and receive alerts via text messages is very convenient. We have stayed here twice previously, and maintenance seems to have improved since the HGV acquisition last year.

Perfect location, walking distance to historic downtown, right across the street from William & Mary (beautiful campus), convenient parking. Absolutely gorgeous room in the West Wing - new! Inn Keepers were friendly, great tips on local activities and dining. Common areas were inviting, great historical atmosphere, loved all the photos, felt as though I was visiting family! Breakfast was excellent and time spent around the table conversing with other guests was the perfect example of B&B hospitality! Thank You!!

The staff were extremely friendly, we were greeted with smiles and laughter. Check-in was a breeze. I liked that there was an elevator, because carrying luggage up three floors would have been a nightmare. I liked that the room had hardwood floors in the living area. I liked the walk in shower and the beautiful led mirrors in the bathrooms. Everything was clean and cozy. It is very close to Busch Gardens and we were able to view their fireworks display on New Years Eve right from the balcony of the hotel.

This is my "go to" hotel when I travel to Williamsburg VA. It is a very clean, comfortable, well located and well run property. The management and staff are very friendly and well versed in how to treat a customer correctly. The location is perfect! it’s a 10 min walk to Colonial Williamsburg. So you can park your car in there and then go for a nice stroll. The breakfast was delicious, but not enough, it would be perfect if they added some oatmeal or cereals. The room was cozy, I was afraid it would be cold at night but it wasn’t. Bed comfortable. Cleaning. They offer some snacks (cereal bars and chocolate) and you can have tea or coffee 24/7.

It was very nice having a refrigerator in the room. While having trains running by the hotel was rather noisy, it wasn't enough to distract from my stay. On a related side note, anyone who has a fixation on trains should be the ones your hotel is being marketed to. The fact of being able to hear trains rumbling by might be very attractive for those people.
