Two days in Nashville was perfect. We wanted to see and feel the vibe of Broadway and do some shopping for Western apparel. Pleasant surprises were the excellent food (try the amazing Locust if you can get a table) and the 12South district, which is cool for shaping and dining. Also, don't miss the view from the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridgewalking bridge across the Cumberland River.

The food was good.
The food was good. My favorite place was Friends in Low Places. Try their fried pickles. Out of this world. Do not get a drink at Freebird. On top of regular tax they charged us a 24% alcohol tax. We were informed everyone on Broadway charged this. That was a lie. The only place that charged that was Freebird. Gaylord Opryland Resort was beautiful.

Nashville is an exciting city to visit with many things to do for excitement. Visit Broadway Street for all the live music and bars never knowing which country stars you may run into. A trip to Monell's for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner is an unforgettable experience and some of the Best food you'll ever eat. A ride on the General Jackson Showboat is a very pleasant once in a lifetime experience. Opryland tours, the mall, and dining at Caney Fork is also recommended. I could go on and on about everything there is to do in Nashville.

Nashville is not quite like it was 20 years ago.
Nashville is not quite like it was 20 years ago. It has almost become over-flooded with tourists that it was lost its hometown feel. Yes, it is fun for a little bit, but you cannot even squeeze through the crowds, similar to NYC. I am also surprised no one said "Excuse me" or "I'm sorry", no matter how many times they ran into us or cut in front of us.
We stayed at the Home2 Suites Metro-center, which was the most peaceful part of our trip.
We visited The Thirsty Turtle, which was THE BEST. Ate at TrapHouz Wings and Velvet Taco. Definitely recommend all three.
DO NOT ORDER DOOR DASH FROM CATFISH KITCHEN. It is a scam. When it takes you to the restaurant it is a rundown Captain D's.

Great spot for music lovers for sure!
Great spot for music lovers for sure! Highly recommend for live music and bar hopping. If music isn't really your thing you may find it boring and repetitive to just go to bars.
Definitely recommend getting some Nashville chicken while here. They also have some great brunch/breakfast cafe's but many have lines around the building so make sure to get there early or get a reservation in advance if possible.
Getting around Nashville I am a bit split on. It seems some areas did have public transport but the bus stops don't have much signage to help you know where they stop at or go to. We drove around for the most part and finding parking can sometimes be a challenge and expensive. Definitely plan ahead on where you will park and have a back-up plan too.
I would skip out on the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The tickets were overpriced for what you get to see and there are so many other better museums that you could go to for a better price.
The place was clean and comfy. Its also alot cheaper than staying downtown. Stay here, get an uber to and from Broadway for a few evenings and save yourself hundreds of dollars.
Its no frills and theres not anything else to do here but we knew that and it does what it says on the tin at the right price.
The staff were nice and helpfull when ever we needed them, all good.
We did walk five mins to Jacks BBQ in Trinity Lane, apperently the original one. Gotta say, its the best brisket and smoked turkey ive ever had :)
The staff were fantastic! Clean facilities and room. The bathroom could use brighter lighting. Comfortable bed. Located about halfway between honky tonks downtown and Music Row. You will have a mile and a half walk to downtown. Scooters are everywhere but the traffic in Nashville is pretty heavy. Valet parking service was great. I thought it was going to be $34/day but it was $34 total and that’s not bad. Parking in Nashville isn’t cheap.
Room had mini fridge and a safe. The TV was good size and worked fine.
We love this hotel. It's the only one I'll stay at anymore when we take our frequent trips to Nashville to go to Vandy. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating, attempting to meet our every needs - and I DO sometimes have needs because I'm in a wheelchair. I find the whole hotel to be very wheelchair- friendly. Everything is always clean and (most importantly) the breakfast is one of the best breakfasts I've ever had at a hotel. All in all, always a very good experience.
Wow, we loved this hotel! It’s so beautiful. Even the elevator was stunning!! Neon signs made it soo vibey. We told them when booking that it was our honeymoon and they not only upgraded our room but also left prosecco, popcorn and chocolate in our room with flower petals on the bed. Staff were really friendly and valet parking was straightforward. Great location near broadway too. Really recommend if you have a little more money to spend on hotel :)
I liked this hotel alot. The room was very modern and the bed was very comfortable and most likely a thicker memory foam type mattress as I did not feel any springs or bounce. There was a great selection of food for breakfast and I came away feeling full and ready to start my day. This hotel is a great value and was cheaper then many others in Nashville, but located right by the airport and right off of I40 so great for a travel stop.
We had the best time. Enjoyed Monster Jam World Finals at Nissan Stadium 5 minute walk from hotel. Walked downtown town Nashville over the Pedestrian Bridge 15 minute walk from Hotel. I will be booking this room again! We parked in Secured deck easy access to room and never had to drive any where until we started Home. Amazing city view!!!
Excellent value for money and great grab and go breakfast included. It was exactly as expected (no frills but modern and comfortable). Liked the location as it was near downtown but far enough out to not be right in all the craziness of broadway etc. Not far from good coffee and a big park if you wanted to run/walk in the mornings!
Great hotel, was very clean and smelled good!
Staff was very accommodating.
It isn’t right on the middle of downtown but it is very
close. There’s a dog park nearby to bring your furry
friends to play.
We didn’t realize that it only offered valet parking, but that
is common in Nashville.
We came to Nashville to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday. We had the best time and the hotel was amazing! The staff was so professional and friendly. Gail, the General Manager was top notch!! The maintenance man was so incredible too. Thankful we had air after a day downtown!
Absolutely loved the meals provided and the cocktails included with the stay and the hot tub and the staff was wonderful, will definitely go back to the Drury Plaza Hotel in downtown Nashville again and all our friends agree it was awesome!
Location great size room facilities in room friendly helpful staff shuttle bus into Nashville round trip 10dollars would recommend others to stay here nice breakfast could not fault this hotel places to eat nearby could go on
Cleanliness comfortable location view bed & pillows were very comfortable. One of the best hotels with the friendliness staff I have stayed at My next trip to Nashville I will definitely stay at The Cambria Hotel
great location, close to grand ole opry and
opry mills, restaurants, bars and even
McDonald's. cheap gas station next to hotel.
clean pool. no noise from drunken guests at
night. really good comp breakfast.
The property was great in terms of price (with hotels being so expensive. It’s a short Uber drive to downtown and it’s in a quiet neighbourhood. It provides an ideal base to explore Nashville.
Reception was very helpfull. Very good and friendly service.
Music!
Using the shuttle bus means that the hotel is basically very close to downtown Nashville. (appr. 20min)
Position close to downtown, breakfast (I have some food intolerances, staff at kitchen have been helpful), room wide, multistory parking (even if not really cheap)
Nice clean finish to the apartment with great amenities. Bed was super comfy.
Not too far from downtown so Ubers were cheap and close to grocery stores.
