My trip was first trip back in over 20 years. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed except for my lodging. Do NOT stay at Blu Atlantic motel!!! Paid for full ocean view, but got side/back view and only bldg across the street. Internet was pretty much non existent and TV had a stripe down middle of screen. Evening clerk was very rude and I would have left at that point but I had nowhere to go. NEVER AGAIN!!

We visited in March so water was cold.
We visited in March so water was cold. There was sand and sun, relaxing and playing, fun for our whole family.
We visited the Broadway at the beach where there were shops, restaurants, and a little amusement park for kids. (Rides are probably best suited for kids 4-12 give or take). We fed the fish and bought some suvineers.

Myrtle Beach is a great vacation spot for your family or just a weekend getaway. We love going to King’s Famous Pizza. There’s so much to do here. I love the pancake houses they have almost everywhere. Broadway at the beach is a great spot to take your kids.

We stayed a couple of days, and it was affordable for our family. The restaurant (Loco Gecko) would have been nice, if they would have made it a little more inviting. There was no wait, yet no one came to sit you. People are looking for a place to hang near the hotel. This is a prime location, because there isn't anything right there to walk to. The pools were awesome. The tiki bar was nice but a little pricey. The place is a little older but still pretty nice. Beds were very comfortable! We will go back!

We loved Myrtle Beach so much 😍 it's super family friendly with lots to do. The beaches and ocean are incredible and we loved the Pirate Show, Aquarium and dolphin tours. There is so many great restaurants and shopping as well.
The pool's and the hot tubs were clean. The best thing about staying there is you're able to use the sea grass Hotel amenities as well. The view is beautiful, you can see the pier, pools, and the ocean all at once and the sky wheel. And the maintenance and cleaning staff are very friendly and nice. And the location doesn't get any better than any of the hotel on the strip. The hotel did give us an extra pass for parking for a guest and extra wristbands for guests for the pool. Didn't see any roaches or bugs at all.
the staff was extremely welcoming, the room was well cleaned, the location was spot on. It was literally across the street from the beach making it perfect to go watch the sunrise & sunset everyday. In addition the hotel décor was my favorite! There is a great pancake house 1 minute away. every room has a balcony giving you the opportunity to have a great ocean view. We will be returning to this hotel every time we are in Myrtle beach.
I usually clean places we stay, and I didn't have to clean anything. Everything was clean and so comfy. I slept like a baby in the master suite. And having a separate bathroom from the teenagers was wonderful. It was a perfect distance from the beach, I didn't want to be right down on the strip. Golf course looked amazing and hoping to come back and check that out. If we come back to Myrtle Beach we will definitely stay here again.
We loved our stay at the sands, live music every night on the beach front bar was a huge plus. When you walk the beach at night you can tell that this is the best hotel on the strip. The rooms were comfortable and the balconies were spacious with an amazing view. I danced the night away on the dance floor of the inside bar until 2 am almost every night. And the river city cafe on property is something you don’t wanna miss.
Oceanfront view was amazing, couldn't hear neighbors at all, very clean, outside hot tub was very relaxing, food is cooked fresh to order and good amount for your money. I didn't go bowling but my kids did and they received a free game which was very nice! Hotel was fully booked but there was plenty of parking! Staff always had what we needed (tissue, towels, dish soap) kitchen appliances always working and up to date.
We loved our 6-night stay for our family vacation. The location is great with just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. The beach is very close as well. The pool and water slides were a nice touch and kids had a blast. Overall, the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. You could tell it was a newer hotel on the strip. We look forward to coming back to stay here in the future.
The hotel is right on the beach and next to the boardwalk. Great location to walk around and visit nearby shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We will stay here again if the room is fumigated for fleas. The staff was courteous. I was overcharged for the room quite a bit though. Still trying to figure that out.
The hotel is on a very good location, 2 minutes from the very best beach of Myrtle Beach. Our room was on the 4th floor, oceanfront, and it is really oceanfront! The view was amaizing, can't find better! Big parking lot, so you will find a parking place. Small kitchen with bacis things helped staying longer. The shower was super, high quality.
I liked its character being one of the few vintage, mid-century, roadside style, 2-story, block BEACHFRONT motels left in Myrtle Beach, and given it’s summer, was the best deal on the Grand Strand for booking last minute. Convenient parking, pool, and beach access are top features.
Rooms were beautifully decorated and very
clean. Location was outstanding. It was right on the beach and had many nearby restaurants to choose from without the tourist trap feel of Myrtle Beach. Loved the pool and hit tub as well. Would definitely go back again.
We had a great room with a nice view on the 16th floor. The location on the beach is wonderful. Good spot for shelling just south of the hotel. The indoor pool was very enjoyable. The staff were helpful and kind. Great to be in Myrtle Beach in the Fall,
The location of the property was great, right on the beach. Staff was friendly. We like to try different hotels when going down to Myrtle beach. It was okay for our weekend stay, but wouldn’t stay longer than that.
It's OK if you need a cheap place to stay for a night but area around it and facilities not in great shape I would not recommend bringing your family here just pay a few extra dollars and go to a nice hotel
The room needs serious remodeling, hotel location is perfect on the boardwalk few minutes from skywheel, ocean view is amazing, plenty of parking spaces across the street. The Air conditioner is awesome
I didn't stay at this hotel I made the reservation I arrived at the hotel reception they said there were no rooms I was mistreated and I apologized for questioning I even called the police
The staff was incredibly friendly. The hotel was an older building so of course looked a bit worn but it was clean. It's right on the ocean and our room had a gorgeous view.
Worst hotel ever!!!! Overpriced and the only bonus was that it was on the beach also they charged me $5 for a towel and the pool was inoperable and looked nasty as hell
Spacious, fairly clean better looking hotel of the ones on the strip...beach access...a good experience. Staff and clean up crew was very nice...Would stay again
