We had a wonderful adventure in Portland including seeing the "Troll" which was the last one of the 6 in the Northwest for us!! We also enjoyed the Pittock Mansion tour and Washington Park. It was all in all a beautiful stay and adventure.

Absolutely loved the country. We saw so much!
Absolutely loved the country. We saw so much! The falls, the coast, the bridges. So incredible. We are not super touristy..so we kept out of the downtown areas. We eat relatively simple so the market was amazing to get most of our food. Getting around in our rental car was so easy. We loved the 55 mph limit on the freeways.
The only downfall that we saw was the unfortunate homeless. Sadly that seems to be everywhere now though. So, we did not let that bother us at all. Everything was amazing.

I know Portland has a stigma attached to it.
I know Portland has a stigma attached to it. I am one who has judged it from afar. In all reality the worst part was driving in the freeway in the rain. Not good for my nerves! We stayed in a B&B In a historic district. Beautiful old homes. There is a mixture of graffiti and businesses that is almost complimentary to each other. We went to a Blazer game with our kids and it was outstanding! Even getting a ride after the game was quick and simple. All in all we weren't there long. The people seemed to be friendly and welcoming. Makes it easier for me to say I would definitely go back.

Portland seem to have a great food and pub/micro-brewery scene. We only visited a few due to the shortness of our stay, but the ones we went to were exceptional.
Considering it was rainy, there wasn't too much we could do.
Public transport seems to be quite good.
However, Portland seem to have a huge problem with homeless people, who camp around the city, as they seem to have nowhere else to go.

We used to love Portland's vibrant feel.
We used to love Portland's vibrant feel. Most of the beautiful city has been ruined by "mostly peaceful" riots of 2020 and the criminality that has been allowed to follow. The stores between 5th and the beautiful river front park are no longer, nor are the restaurants. It's sad. We used to visit the REI and it has now had to close due to the criminals. The NW area was in better shape. We enjoyed walking and shopping in that area.
The friendly staff greets you and a clean modern lobby is a nice start. The room is small but well acquainted. The beds are very comfortable as are the sheets pillows and fluffy throw. I like that it had a microwave and a mini fridge and I left watching The MAX train go by outside.
It's right across the street from the convention center, so if you have any plans at the convention center it's a perfect hotel to stay at. The view of downtown Portland is also wonderful to see from their rooftop restaurant and bar.
The location was great for being near ohsu and downtown Portland but it was very loud at night with the bar downstairs. The bed was comfortable and the price was cheap. It met my standard for one night, I just needed a cheap place to sleep. Yes the walls are thin but it wasnt as bad as other reviewers had said. I was just annoyed by the bar noise. The employee that was working was kind of rude when I left but oh well. Also they do offer a bag of breakfast.
The hotel and room were modern, comfortable and clean. There’s a gorgeous outdoor area that I’m sure if stunning for drinks in the summer! Staff were very helpful and available, even the bar staff were quick to provide us with recommendations for where to go in Portland. Location is convenient - it’s downtown and a short walk to the city centre, and the bus and tram stops are right outside. I’d definitely return to Hotel Zags if I’m back in Portland.
The patio. - It was my third stay in Portland but this was by far the best hotel. Clean, spacious, (new?), didn't feel like other Hamptons I have been to. - The breakfast area was done so more than a handful people at a time could get food and you didnt feel crowded when eating. - The staff was one of the friendliest in the area (I had dealings with 5, so I generalize this)- The room was good Hampton quality. The gym was well maintained.
Location is right in the middle of downtown, this hotel (considering its a budget choice) is out of this world, I've never stayed in a better budget hotel, ever. Just everything was great, the building was beautiful also. Staff really friendly, there's so much good stuff to say about this place.
Spacious, fun room in a lovely part of the city. Most hotels are downtown and we liked the Northrupp area much better (great shopping, dining, cafes etc). We got lucky and had a room on the top floor. Free parking and free Tram tickets per person and day are a great extra.
This is the second time we have stayed at Dossier. It's a beautiful hotel, well-run, and the beds are comfortable. Nice amenities and very large bathrooms. Great views of downtown Portland from the rooms. The staff is professional and helpful.
This is a comfortable boutique hotel in downtown Portland, OR. The front desk staff are very helpful and able to answer questions about dining options in the surrounding area. Our room was a nice size with king-size bed and a kitchenette.
Great location in NW Portland. Our room in the "inn" part of the hotel was clean. We loved the view of downtown Portland & three volcanoes from our 2nd story balcony. Never had any problem parking our car near our room.
The location of this hotel was amazing! Very central to downtown Portland and the staff were so nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the hotel cleaning staff were always around when you needed them!
The room and bed were very comfortable, and the shared bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The staff were helpful and the coffee shop in the hotel was lovely. Convenient location for downtown Portland.
I loved how clean the hotel was and how professional/ kind the staff were! Great location in the heart of downtown Portland within walking distance of a lot of very cool things. Definitely worth the trip
The hotel was conveniently located near downtown Portland and accessible to major interstates and sights/sounds/ restaurants. The king size bed was exceptionally comfortable.
Great central location, and the only hotel in this price bracket in the area. Room was large, beds were comfy. Free parking an absolute boon in the downtown area.
