Great town, very active, it would be really nice to paddle board there, go hiking and I went to the best fly fishing shop I've ever seen at Old Mill (https://www.oldmilldistrict.com/shops/confluence-fly-shop/). Had a couple of beers at Confluence fly shop. Pizza at Pinky G's (https://pinkygs.com/) was fantastic.

The whole city was clean and organised.
The whole city was clean and organised.
Very few old vacant plots throughout making it a city of quality.
The "old town' with its shops and good quality food outlets, history information , river frontage and walks were an unexpected series of highlights for our restful day.

I loved how friendly the drivers are, all the food truck pods, and fun outdoor spaces. So many gorgeous trails to explore and the shopping at the Mill District. So fun to see an operational Blockbuster store and a Barnes and Noble store.
Beautiful river front and public parks.

So much to do in and around Bend.
So much to do in and around Bend. If you are nature lover, you can easily spend 3-4 days here or even more.
The area is rapidly expanding... expect traffic and impatient / borderline rude drivers!
We liked and enjoyed areas around Bend more than Bend itself.

I was a participant in the Arts Festival so my experience was skewed.
Bend is a lovely, overcrowded town. It has some wonderful neighborhoods, mostly the older ones are best. Bend is very expensive. Lodging was the highest of any city I've worked in. We had a hard time finding seating in downtown restaurants and the prices were higher than other comparable cities. Drivers near where I was for the festival were impatient and aggressive.
Bend is nice, but it suffers from the success of aggressive advertising that has worked, perhaps, too well.

Bend is amazing.
Bend is amazing. There are so many activities for couples, families, solo travelers. Hiking, paddling, biking, shopping, skiing. It's a year round destination. I love Bend. The coffee and beer options are endless, and if you are a foodie, it is a great place to visit. We went to Yoli on this trip, a small Korean cuisine restaurant - the food was delicious! From high end, to dumplings, to gelato...you will find what you are looking for. Although my son and I were not into the nightlife scene, I am sure for the youthful traveler or those looking for a good time in the evening Bend would also not disappoint. Enjoy!
The room was extremely cute. We loved the hammock touch and how the room supported an "active" lifestyle (had a bike rack, cooler, and outdoor blanket). The fact that you were able to rent bikes was also a great feature. They had live entertainment on Friday night, which made for a chill environment. It wasn't too far from downtown Bend, so getting places wasn't extremely difficult. We would definitely stay again!
Location, location. The views of the river were wonderful, we enjoyed sitting out on the patio with our coffee and enjoying the sights and sounds of the river and nature. We like the proximity to downtown and to our friends home who live in Bend. We did feel more at home than being in a hotel room. We had plenty of room and all the amenities that made it feel like home. Parking was great if you are driving.
The "vibe" was great, everyone was really friendly, the room was nicely appointed for the price point and very comfortable. The heated pool and fire pit every night was awesome, as was the music pumping out around the campus. The hotel is an easy walk to downtown and various breweries. Plenty of parking. Quiet hours were strictly enforced.
The room was very clean. Ideal for families with little kids because it has a good size kitchen where you can cook small meals. Cookware and dinnerware were also provided in the room. Hotel was just near the mall. Plenty of store/restaurants around. Had a comfortable stay. Will definitely stay here again if ever we come back in Bend.
Excellent location close to the river. Old Mill area is just across a footbridge containing restaurants, shops and cinema.
Hotel is very modern with spacious rooms, very comfortable beds and great walk in shower. Lovely swimming pool and hot spa. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
The location was great. The room was clean and fairly well set up. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve experienced. The front desk staff and the breakfast staff were both outstanding. The breakfast area and lobby were immaculate, clean and cheerful.
My go-to place to stay in Bend. Cheap price without being a cheap place. Six block walk from downtown. Reasonably quiet: it's tucked in away from the main street. Staff is always great. I liked this room because it had an awesome bathtub, but not all rooms do.
Only suggestion I would add is have cut up
Melon for breakfast. And that’s being nit picky. The dining area was beautiful and comfortable. A great location along the river with easy walk to the Mill and Riverbend Park. And a short drive to downtown.
This hotel, and my room specifically, is in one of the best locations in Bend! The Deschutes River was right outside my patio door. The view was lovely.
The room was huge though underused. It could held more furniture and be more inviting.
This hotel seems very new! It had great breakfast- I love the pancake maker. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Dove shampoo, condition, body wash, hand soap, and lotion provided in the bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.
Love the room, the facility, parking, staffs, all are great. Very nice decorations. The pool, the common area. Love that it is very pet friendly. If I'm going back to Bend I will look for this place again.
Room was clean and warm. Decor was nice and the deck was really nice. My granddaughter and I loved the shower. Nice big rain shower head yet not wasting water.
I would stay here every time I visit bend.
The hotel was exceptionally clean and the front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located in a great area of Bend. very close to restaurants and shopping.
Staff were friendly. Beer on tap at the desk was great. Fireplace and firepits were nice. It was a good value for what other hotels in Bend were charging when we booked.
