It was nice however I had to check out before completing the stay because the closed captions on the tv werent working - sooo disappointing!!!
The town is quaint and lovely. Loved shopping from the independent sellers, and even having a chance to buy art and products from local artists and vendors. Everyone was super nice, and allowed us to feel comfortable and at home despite being from the city (sometimes us folks from NYC are a bit much, I get it!) Very happy overall with the experience.

We enjoyed a live performance of Jonathan Kruk in the Old Dutch Church in Sleepy Hollow. Excellent.
We also toured the nearby Octagon House. This is one of the many unique experiences in the Tarrytown area.
A quick search will reveal many other activities around Tarrytown which can fill a weekend or a week-long visit.

The food sucks!
The food sucks! Restaurants are closed Monday and Tuesdays and the ones that are open don’t open until about 1130 so just forget about breakfast. It looks better on IG not much to do there during Halloween weekend as they make it seem.

Visited over Halloween.
Visited over Halloween. Went to the Blaze one night, which was impressive and fun. Saw the Legend play the second night, also fun.
Cute town, Patriot Park was interesting. Horsefeathers was a fun restaurant, noisy but great food. The El Dorado Diner had good food and very friendly staff.

Things are much further apart then maps give impression.
Things are much further apart then maps give impression. The town itself is lovely. Lots of wonderful places to eat . People are very nice . If you visit the old cemetery drive around it and stop and walk around then drive around further . It is so large and hilly . Great town to spend time in .

It is an ideal location for arts and culture.
It is an ideal location for arts and culture. Tarrytown has the iconic music hall where there is great entertainment. There's the famous Sleepy Hollow headless Horseman. Great restaurants, Lyndhurst Mansion, Sunnyside, shops. Close to Metro North train station, Cuomo (aka Tappan Zee) bridge.
The Castle Hotel and Spa is a beautiful hotel steeped in history and the perfect place for a relaxing and romantic weekend. It captures your imagination and transports you instantly to the Gilded Age. The building and grounds are well maintained and there has been extensive work to preserve as much of the original Castle as possible. The pool sits just below the main building and was a relaxing escape and one of the most beautiful locations all by itself.
Service staff were very friendly and very helpful. Very professional in their interaction with us. We had housekeeping everyday which was very nice coming back from an outing to meet a clean room with well made beds. The neighborhood was very nice too with restaurants and bars just 7mins from the hotel
The grounds were beautiful! My sister was thrilled that we could bring her dog to the hotel and many places in town. We loved the firepit that we sat at and had a great night out on the patio of one of the areas. We had a great time!! The hotel is historical and close to all the area attractions!!
Very comfortable bed, the room was spacious. Nice bathtub as well. The property is beautiful, with lots of space to hang out. Outdoor pool is nice, although it closed at 7pm unfortunately. In less than an hour you are at Grand Central Station with the train from Tarrytown. Ideal for a visit to NYC.
The size of the room is a highlight. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and in general, the room was what we expected during our stay at Castle Hotel.
The location is great if you are looking for a place to relax and avoid the city noise.
The location was great for our purpose.Very close to the train station to go into nyc.
The included breakfast was good and convenient and our two kids enjoyed having a pool in the hotel.
my third time staying in this hotel and it was better than ever.
comfortable rooms, fantastic beds, sound proof walls, a lovely pool and tasty breakfast in
the morning
The staff was very friendly and responsive. The Hotel is convenient to major roads and relatively near public transport. Given the location the value is reasonable
