Saratoga Springs is a charming town where you can find great variety of places to stay, shop, dine and get some relaxion like the Roosevelt Spa bath.
There is always lots of things to do in wintertime or summertime. Horse racing is well know during hot season. Visitors and locals blend together and makes the town alive!
Come and try the mineral water fountain where you can fill your own bottles.

Great downtown area with many restaurants and shops, including Northshire Books (also in Manchester, VT). Hotel is located inside Saratoga Springs State Park -- great auto museum (had a well curated James Bond exhibit); spa; 18 hole golf course and a pitch and putt.

Discovered Saratoga Springs when my son started Skidmore College. He graduated 5 years ago & we still make the 3 hour drive for long weekends. The stores, museums, hiking trails, race track, casino, food & bars are a win. I have NO negative things to say about the town.

It was clean, friendly staff and good value for the money.
It was clean, friendly staff and good value for the money. It's a typical chain 3-star hotel. Standard self-serve breakfast. I think most people would be pleased, as we were. The small restaurant inside the hotel which was managed by Sheila was unexpectedly good! She really cares about the food and she chats with the customers. She gets a big star from us!

Entrance way was very dirty, sand, dirt, cigarette butts!
Entrance way was very dirty, sand, dirt, cigarette butts! Ironic that there was a broom by doorway..
No, hair dryer, no shade bathroom window, no dresser, shower very tiny. And curtain not secure!
Very musty and AC was loud and dirty!
I don't like to give bad reviews but thought this was necessary. Also no one in office to talk to.

It is definitely a beautiful town.
It is definitely a beautiful town. A lot of upscale, high income shopping. The race track was cool. First time going to one. Wish we would've seen the beach and stayed near the water. Not sure if I would ever go back.

Was greeted very cordially , given advice and a map that showed directions to downtown Saratoga Springs . When the rains stopped the gentleman in charge there ( forgot his name( I’m horrible at remembering names ) did a nice job landscaping the property.,pool was clean , was constantly being vacuumed . Everyone I encountered was friendly on my trip. Only thing I can complain about was the noise at night .loud whistle blast and a loud banging noise from Rte 50. Outside of that it was a relaxing , pleasant long weekend. Ty to Robin Hood .
This is a beautiful setting and a grande dame hotel with a lot of style and creaky joints. I loved that it is NOT slick, polished or too modernized—but its all heart. If you can accept the “historical feel”, it is a gracious comfortable place to come home to. The staff is lovely and working so hard to keep things going during a resurgence in travelers. The shuttle was very convenient—to the track and downtown. Walking the grounds of the park in the morning -or evening- a wonderful bonus. We loved our stay.
Beautiful beyond words, lovingly restored and with exceptional charm. Comfortable and luxurious. Staff beyond nice and accommodating, and familiar with the building's history. Breakfast was lovely. No details overlooked regarding luxury and comfort. Location was fantastic. While I've only stayed in Saratoga twice, I'd say it is the best possible property to stay at in the whole city and exceeds expectations by far. You will be glad you stayed here.
The pool and hot tub are fantastic. Wanted a massage but didn't have time due to a flat tire. Bathroom is modern and clean and water is hot. Bed is comfortable and adequate clothing storage. Breakfast is adequate. Interesting letter from Eleanor Roosevelt in the lobby when the hotel opened. Enjoyed the porch at the end of the building and the balcony with the room.
I never got to see the property because booking.com never booked the room. I got to the hotel and they didn’t have a booking for me. I was lucky to get a room at a Hampton inn a few miles away so I spent four days playing chauffeur because the friends we went with got their room at Hilton garden inn. I will never use that site again.
Bed was super comfortable. Location was excellent, right in the middle of downtown. They have a parking but if you don't find a spot they give you a parking tag to park free in the public garage just behind the hotel which is very cool.
Probably one of the charmer Inns we´ve ever stayed in. Unbeatable location in front of the lake, internal design and arthitecture are to die for, and the live music in the cozy bar is an awesome plus. One of the highlights of our trip.
Sara Glen is a great stop on our way to Maine. The property is clean and comfortable. The host is welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. There are good places for dinner and breakfast. We look forward to staying there again.
The location is awesome and the grounds are beautiful. In the park, walking around. It is just a gorgeous place and the hotel is so charming with its history. The reception is fantastic, friendly, responsive and helpful.
It was in a great location, in the heart of downtown. The property was very cute, modern and clean. Our room was a great size. AND, there was free Nitro coffee! Just a joyful experience.
A beautiful hotel. Was clean and comfortable. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Honestly a great stay. Best part was the location being right downtown. Can’t wait to stay again.
