Well, we got there very early in the morning and our room had been given to someone else (I tried to call twice and I emailed that we were going to be really late) but the gentleman at the front desk apologized and got us another room ASAP and it was a great room, plenty of room for me and my family to be totally comfortable and had a nice view of the city! The people during the day at the front and other staff was approachable and very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and the pool area was clean and my kids had a blast. We enjoyed most of our and mostly had a great experience.

We went for a Cancer Survivors Celebration, and while there we went b ack to the Museum of History in Forrest Park. It was more than our old broken bodies could handle and we left after two hours. Went to the "HILL", Italian section of town for dinner. We went to Mama's on the Hill and had another great meal. Meals are large, so we share a side salad and an entree. Never an issue, they bring an extra plate. There are numerous other Italian restaurants and we have eaten in several of them. All were good. The Hill is only about 2 miles from the Museum or from Barnes Jewish Hospital, take KingsHighway, prob North maybe west from the Hospital. Watch for signs about the Hill go about 1 1/2 miles or so crossing the two interstate hiways. Turn right off of Kingshighway either on Shaw or Southwest something. Right past a 4 or 5 story U HAUL business!

Despite initial concerns about safety, my personal experience contradicted those worries. I discovered that the area around the Arch and Ballpark Village was safe to walk around during the day, Had mouthwatering tacos and margaritas at Condado Tacos at the Ballpark village. ,To explore further, we opted for Uber rides at night and were rewarded with the breathtaking sight of the Anheuser Busch St. Louis Brewery lights. Explored the St. Louis Zoo, a free and delightful experience. Overall, while some caution is advisable, my trip revealed that with sensible precautions, St. Louis can be a wonderful and safe destination to explore. Will have to check out the botanical gardens on our next visit.

The city is empty. Nothing to do.
The city is empty. Nothing to do. On a Saturday afternoon downtown is empty. No shopping, no bars down town. If you have to go to st Louis, make sure you’re in a nice neighborhood out of centre. There are quite a few.

If it was not for Anheuser-Busch, I would not come back to St Louis. The Arch was good and was a monument to see but Anheuser-Busch was the highlight of our trip. The only reason I would return would be because I would go back to see Anheuser-Busch. They know how to treat people and are just an awesome place to go.
The hotel was next to a main highway and only around 5 miles from the stadium and downtown. It makes it an ideal location for anyone who’s planning to visit the city and not hang around the hotel. The room was clean and the staff friendly.
A lot of comments mention the surrounding area looking rough and that may be true but we had no issues. The parking lot is fenced in, there are cameras in the parking lot and security at night. We felt perfectly safe.
Everything. Great space themed hotel. Staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful and informative to help our sightseeing. Room was large with lovely comfy bed and great shower. The Delmar Loop is a good place to stay with boutique shops and good restaurants and easy access to downtown using the Metro to visit the Arch and museums. Comfortable area to walk about. A big thank you to all the staff for making our stay Great.
Clean, comfortable beds. Comfortable bathrobes. Very art deco in style and decor. Close to downtown. If you don’t want to eat at the hotel, there are several restaurants within walking distance. The city museum is literally next door. Downtown is very accessible on foot. Throughout our stay I also received several text communications from the hotel inquiring what they could do to improve our experience.
Great location with easy access to St. Louis downtown area. Secured and convenient parking lot at small fee. The staff goes above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience. Stunning views from the roof top bar with delicious drinks. Bartenders are friendly and super welcoming. Love this place. I have been there 3 times already and it is for sure my go to place every time I visit St Louis.
The Club is a beautiful place to stay when visiting Saint Louis. We attended a Cardinals game and thankful for the shuttle to get us there and back. The traffic was crazy but the driver managed just fine. We were glad to have a safe place downtown to park our car as well. Carl was very helpful at the door as my husband had an injury and couldn't carry the luggage.
A bold attempt at recreating ' Ye Olde England" with some fascinating furnishings and literary themed rooms. Without doubt the jewel is the snuggest, cosiest bar west of Cornwall, which is only missing Dick Turpin entering in a tricorn hat and demanding "your money or your life". Definitely worth a detour, whether staying at the hotel or not!
The staff here worked like a well oiled machine. The customer service was excellent, from the front desk to housekeeping. Breakfast was delicious and the ladies working that area were completely on top of it, cleaning and refilling, making sure everyone was happy. Truly a great downtown hotel!
The hotel was conveniently located downtown to all the establishments we wanted to go to for our bachelorette party. The rooms were nicely sized, and the atrium bar area and even cocktail hour was a great way to start of the night.
Great view of the arch (we did pay $50 extra for an arch view room)! Good downtown location. Couldn't be closer to the arch. The lobby is nice and I had no issues with the hotel employees. They were all friendly and helpful.
Large, comfortable room and bedding. Very clean room and bedroom. Friendly welcome from the front desk staff. Great location for visiting St Louis. Convenient to Forest Park and tourist attractions downtown.
Great location.. We found couple of. Nice restaurants close by and really were impressed by the oldtimy architecture of downtown St Louis. We really liked our spacious coollooking appartment.
The Last Hotel is a very cool historic property, the renovations are well done, while keeping the charm of the original building. Our room was spacious and lovely.
The hotel was great. It is in a great location for getting around in the downtown area. The staff was efficient and friendly. We will definitely stay here again.
