Farming community. People we talked to were very nice and polite. Walking distance to restaurants and a mini mall. Town access is easy and just a short drive up the main road. I would stay there again and plan to do so on my return trip home.

What a great little city, we went to a celebration of life at the Cottage in Edgewater Park and it was great, I wish we could have spent more time there to check out more but it was just a weekend thing. We will definitely be back to this area for a longer stay. Edgewater Park is beautiful as was Fountain Lake and the walking paths were long, cant wait to come back!

I had asked to pay cash for my room at check in. And leave my credit card in file for any incidentals. I was told I needed to wait until checkout, then I could pay. Well, my bill was slid under my door. And my credit card has been charged. I was frustrated.

Small community in Minnesota.
Small community in Minnesota. People were very friendly and we enjoyed meeting some of the locals. Did not spend enough time to get to know the place, but enjoyed the short visit.
Stopped at the B&B cafe for breakfast. Very popular spot for the locals, rated #1 in town! Simple menu, good service and get you in and out quickly. The cinnamon rolls go fast, have to get in early if you want one!

We did find a good restaurant that desk person told us about. The Green Mill had excellent food and drink and was so nice after driving all day. We didn’t go into town.
Motel was gross and hard to find as it is attached to the back of LaQuinta motel.

Some of this town is run down, but it has pretty much any kind of place you want to eat from chains to local restaurants. Would be a fine stop along a longer journey for a rest. There was even a local biking trail. Also near Austin MN which has things to do ( Spam Museum, Hormel Nature Center we’re both great)
Had some unique sets ups. Tv was smaller and mounted in some custom looking wall mount system. No tv stand or dresser like most every other Hotel. Bathroom also had some unique wall mounted towel holding "cabinet". Looks like hotel is doing some updating/repairs to the exterior. Ice machine was broken. Felt the price at $140 a night was high for the condition.
The room was dirty and had a chunk of something with long hair attached on the floor in the sink area. Looked like some one had been scalped! There were blood drops on the floor near it. Really dark around the outside of the room and not much of a lock on the door. Very creepy... I referred to this place as the Bates motel!!!
I stopped here very late (near midnight) during a big ice storm, and had an issue with my booking.com payment, but the staff at this hotel were very accommodating with a refund after double paying. Thank you! Also the room was large, warm, and dry, which was very needed for a cold, sleepy traveler!
We stop in 3 different hotels in the summer on the way to our cabin and in the fall on our way back south. The Best Western is the best hotel for the price, comfort, breakfast, and location. They beat all the other hotels we stayed at.
I reserved the hotel for one night but got stuck in snow and I canceled it after one hour. Although my reservation was non refundable, the manager accepted to refund me back. The reception was also friendly and helpful. Thanks
Staff was very friendly made you feel like you were at home and a couple mentoring breakfast was excellent and I will also be recommending the hotel to other people to stay at and I will be back for another stay
Great location after a day of travelling, rooms were clean and well laid out, pool was excellent and general atmosphere of hotel was pleasant. Breakfast served just what you need. Would definitely stay again!
