One of the oldest and most historic US cities, Boston is known as "America’s Walking City". In its heart, next to 18th-century Faneuil Hall, is Quince Market - a food haven. In the nearby seaport, you can take a whale-watching trip or dine at one of the many restaurants serving a Boston specialty: lobster with melted butter.
The streets south of the peaceful Charles River in Back Bay are lined with Victorian brownstone houses. At the downtown end of one – Beacon Street – is the Cheers bar, modeled on the 80's sitcom. Opposite is Boston Common, a large park with a bronze sculpture celebrating the book "Make Way for Ducklings". The golden dome of the House of Representatives is by the other end.
The oldest part is Charlestown and streets around the Bunker Hill obelisk still feature old-style gas lamps, though now they are electric. Over in Cambridge, Harvard is the USA’s oldest and most prestigious university. The campus is open to the public, as is Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), whose central point is an emblematic, Pantheon-like building.
Sport in Boston is also a big thing, with the Celtics and Red Sox among the city’s big name teams.
The largest New England city, Boston has the perfect size for walking and cycling. Logan International Airport is connected by public transport to Boston hotels, motels, apartments and B&Bs.
We came to Boston to attend a concert at the MGM venue.
We came to Boston to attend a concert at the MGM venue. We spent two days seeing the sites but that was not enough to take in everything. What we did see was worth the time. We took the Hop-on Hop-off trolly tour, but it would have been less expensive and more convenient if we had used the Uber or Lyft rides and this would have allowed even more time to enjoy the sites we visited. We also attended an unplanned tour of Harvard University. I my opinion this is overrated. The young lady (Anie) who was our tour guide did a great job, but they were doing yard cleanup with machinery and a lot of what she said we couldn't even hear.

Boston is so accessible, I loved it!
Boston is so accessible, I loved it! I’m not used to being able to walk anywhere so having so much right outside the door of the hotel tickled me to death. I wiped exploring their transit options, trying many many cocktails in the pubs, and enjoyed some amazing food. I really love Boston and I’ll definitely be back. Preferably when it’s a bit warmer.

Great City for a weekend break, great restaurants, shops and sightseeing opportunities. The Prudential Tower View is excellent day, sunset and night. Shame that Massachusetts has legalised Cannabis as the city does smell constantly of it and in public toilets.

Boston is a clean city that for the most part is very friendly. We come from a very small country town so it was a new experience for us. I was nervous about driving in the city but people were pleasant and I didnt have any issues except the hotel we stayed in.

Boston is full of surprises, if you stay in SeaPort you can get the Silver line bus for free from Logan airport to 4 different stops in Seaport.
We really loved the T, it was easy to use, and super efficient to get around town. We walked all through Boston Commons and saw a lot of Historical monuments.
The food in the Italian North End is terrific, we went back 2 times in 4 days. The Sam Adams lounge was also a hit by Government Center and F.Hall.
The restaurant Coquette in Omni Hotel was exquisite, and fun to dine at. We loved the Museum of Fine Arts Boston! We found Boston to be preferable to NYC, it's clean, easy, and felt safe.

It was my first time visiting Boston.
It was my first time visiting Boston. There are tons of places to eat and to ship at. My daughters took me to a few shops I'm looking forward to visiting again. My favorite stop was our visit to the Science Museum. It's an absolute must-go if you visit Boston. There was so much to learn and interact with. My toddler had an awesome time, we adults did too! The city itself is really nice and we enjoyed walking and rolling around the downtown area. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we will definitely be going back to visit other places that peaked our interests.
This hotel is so fun - from the “rock and roll “ theme to the heated pool and adjacent sushi bar it’s all about a “rockin good time” the location is insanely great- next to Fenway park and MGM Theater, House of Blues and steps from the MFA Boston, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museums super location too! Staff is so friendly and helpful - rooms are comfortable and have record players with a lending library downstairs! There are luxury amenities like plush robes and great toiletries too! Impressed all the way !
Pros: LOCATION - Back bay is beautiful and quiet and close to everything. We took the Amtrak to Boston and walked to the hotel! A lovely park across the street, and Copley place is filled with beautiful gardens. Ate at great nearby restaurants. Traveled with a 10 and 12 year old, they slept on the pull out. It's not a separate room, but a dividing wall. This was fine. More privacy than a typical hotel. Tiny kitchen was perfect, bathroom was nice. We stayed on the 3rd floor - we don't mind stairs.
Hotel AKA Back Bay effortlessly combines the convenience of location with the charm of Boston's historic architecture. This comfortable hotel, situated perfectly between downtown and the Hynes Convention Center, offers a practical choice for both business travelers and city explorers. While not extravagant, its modern comforts within a historic building provides a unique and pleasing stay. Highly recommended for a dependable and delightful Boston experience!
This is the third time I have stayed at the Lenox Hotel in the last 10 years when visiting Boston and the primary reason is its location. For me the best part of Boston is the Back Bay Area and no hotel is better place to experience this. A short walk and you can experience dining and shopping of good quality in the nicest part of Boston. The hotel staff are always helpful and there is a feeling that nothing is too much trouble.
I always choose to stay here whenever I’m in Boston. It’s my number one. The staff always look after me . It feels like home m with a great location just in the edge of the busy beacon hill district. The location is great and service wonderful and you can walk anywhere in Boston from back bay to the park. Lovely comfortable rooms. Great feel to the hotel in a small boutique way. Highly Recommended …
The location, first of all, cannot be beat. If you need to be in the center of Boston and are on a budget. This place is perfect. It's not a luxury experience. But it's safe, quiet and the wifi worked without a problem. The a/c and heating worked, the shower worked great - good water pressure and temperature. If you like no-frills and amazing deals hotel travel, this is a great place to stay.
Shuttles to the hotel were available from Boston Logan Airport. Check in was efficient. Really handy to have self service laundry facilities and we were able to do a much needed load. Room was clean. Breakfast was included in the price and offered a range of fare. A bar where you could get food was available on site. There was also a little ‘tuck shop’ where you could buy snacks and drinks.
Location was perfect, in the center of Back Bay where all the action is! Room quiet and large! Very good shower (although in the bath)! One of the best hotelbars ever, only on our last night overcrowded…
If we don’t come back to this hotel it’s because we don’t get to Boston anymore but we’ll tell all our friends
The hotel is in a great location , they have a shuttle to and from the airport for $10 each way, and a free shuttle every day on the hour to the train station, which is do easy to get to Boston city and any where you need to go from there, the breakfast was really good and the hotel was quiet,a really pleasant stay
Quality of the hotel, the guest room. Far better than other hotels that are twice the price. It felt European. The staff was gracious and helpful - early check-in, they ordered a car to take us to the airport. Easy walking distance to anywhere really in downtown Boston - Public Garden, Back Bay, waterfront.
Awesome 55" HDTV!! Large room and bathroom. Mini-fridge, Keurig coffee maker, sofa and table. Walking distance to 3 train lines - orange, red and green. Very close to Boston Common and Public Garden. Convenient downtown location. Close to many restaurants and activities. Garage under the hotel.
The hotel is smack in the middle of Back Bay and is quite close to the subway and rail. It's also just a short walk to get to Boston Common, so you can avoid having to take taxi too much. There is a decent coffee shop downstairs, and an okay Mexican restaurant.
Wonderful stay, hotel very clean, great location to all downtown activities and historic spots! Beds were comfortable just wish I had gotten a suite because room is a little small. Overall great choice in hotel for our trip to Boston!!
Beautiful hotel. Great facilities. Extremely friendly staff. Great choice of restaurants. Room was magnificent with fabulous view of Boston and the harbour.. Great bus shuttle to downtown and a fabulous ferry ride at weekends.
The hotel location is very close to the harbor and downtown. Across the road, there are many bars that open till 2 am at night. So you can enjoy the nightlife of Boston.
Breakfast was nice but little bit expensive.
Rooms were exceptionally good.
Staff friendly and professional.
Location of hotell is very good in downtown Boston
Just outside of the Boston bustle & congestion. Close to the airport, but not an airport hotel. Around the corner from a Mall and Outlet Stores. Friendly staff.
The room was a good size, clean, and had a great balcony with a view of back bay. The hotel is in a good location near Boston Common and the theater district.
