Bardstown is a lovely little town in the heart of Bourbon country, great for a weekend trip! Some lovely restaurants and some not so good ones. Talbot Inn was very hyped up but did not live up to it's reputation. Mammy's was awesome !KOCUBA - 10Scored 10

what a fantastic town, so much history, so much bourbon! everyone was friendly even during the week when the restaurants that are open close around 9 PM. the downtown was quiet when we were there and easy to walk the streets downtown and around the Talbott Inn.Mary MUnited States - 10Scored 10

Our trip this time was just 1 night but I have visited before. The downtown has nice shops, the distilleries are fun to visit. Also Stephen Foster home & park. So happy to see that they have now acknowledged that enslaved people built and maintained the place or it would not exist.mollison - 10Scored 10

If you like historic architecture, distillery trips and tasting, and some really unique dining and drinking experiences it is the place for you. the downtown shops are nice and friendly, there are both new and one of a kind historic restaurants. the towns people seem very polite and friendly and the town itself was nice. driving traffic is almost nonexistent and you can get anywhere fairly quicklyAAnonymous
