Search hotels in Mount Pleasant

Does not seem to be much here, but I didn't get out to explore hardly. It was just a forced stop during my trip due to bad weather. But I highly recommend the Super 8. Best customer service I've ever had in any hotel. Very accommodating and they go above and beyond to make sure you are a happy and returning guest.

The city/town itself seems to be nice. Just big enough to get what you need and enjoy your time there. Nice selection of clean restaurants to fill your belly. 'The Midwest Old Thrashers Reunion' is a well, put together event to schedule into your yearly plans closer to fall.

The town is smaller, but there is quite a bit to do, check out some of the museums there. Everyone is very friendly. They have a little park downtown that is very nice, clean and relaxing, a big fountain in the middle. A lot of nice little places to eat around there, check out both of the Mexican restaurants in town. They both have really good food, the one is smaller but it's worth it to stop by for a bite to eat. They have some antique stores there downtown, quite interesting to check out you never know what you will find in there. If you want some little Asian goodies, there is an asian food store downtown, I have gone there both times I have been there to Mount Pleasant and multiple times during our stay. Mount pleasant is a very nice location to stay, with quite a bit to do. Burlington, Fairfield, Iowa city, Kalona, and Amana are not to far to visit in my opinion. They are worth the drive. A lot of things to do in these little towns so make sure to check them out as well. Getting around Mount pleasant is easy, as is most of the other little towns. Iowa city you will need a map or navigation it is bigger. We stayed 5 nights and still did not get to see and do everything. The sunrises and sunsets are beautiful and relaxing. Can not wait to go back!
