Walked everywhere, enjoyed the bookstore and restaurants.

Excellent location right in town and a couple minutes from the gondola. Super host and we had access to lodge kitchen.

Telluride and the surrounding location is just heaven.
Telluride and the surrounding location is just heaven. It was a perfect place to get away and spend quality time with the family. There is also so much more to do than ski - we went on a terrific snowmobile tour, the town of Telluride is great, and we were also able to sled with our son. I'm biased about Telluride, because my grandparents met and...
I'm biased about Telluride, because my grandparents met and married there, so it feels "ancestral". Once upon a time, it was a ghost town; now it's very expensive due to the Mountain Village ski resort. But our family still enjoys short visits! Fun restaurants, and a great Farmer's Market. A beautiful little town with a combination of nature and urban facilities like good cafes and shops. We only passed through but we could have spent a few days there. Had a great coffee at the local bookshop.

The trip objective was about good mountain skiing. The ski run options for our "blue" skill level exceeded expectations. We enjoyed winter post card weather conditions, some snow, some sun, moderate winds.

The free bus will pick you up at any corner, if you flag them down, and take you right to the gondola, Or to any other stops around town that are easily walkable. Ok, so the rooms don’t have A/C, but this is over 8000ft and in the 50-60s at night. Given this handicap, I think it’s a little pricey. But the rooms are big! Staff are excellent, location in top notch. Best hotel so far on our road trip.
