We went to Colorado Springs because it is the base point for all of the close by attractions. We went to the Garden of the gods, multiple times, drove up to Pikes peak, saw the Indian cliff dwellings. We stayed at the Garden of the Gods resort, the resort was awesome.

I love Colorado Springs.
I love Colorado Springs. From now on, instead of flying out of Denver airport, we will stay at the Radisson and fly out of Colorado Springs. Free parking, free shuttle and a small easy airport vs the nightmare of DIA. We knew some people who live here and they love going out to breakfast downtown in the summer time. We went with them to a nice open air restaurant and ate outside. It was a lovely experience! Then we drove to Victor and Cripple Creek. Such beautiful scenery!! The next day we got to see the Garden of the Gods! WOW! The next day we went to Boulder, Colorado.RichardUnited States of America

We very much enjoyed the served breakfast. It was way better than other US hotels serve, it was a great start of the day. In addition, there are more than enough dinner or shopping locations in walking distance of the hotel. The area itself is not very interesting for a vacationing traveller, but it is located close to highways through the city so you will get to where you need to go without having to cross the city.
