Overall, the stay in the room was nice. The breakfast was very good the whole facility I did like it. We only went for one day so I didn’t experience the pool or anything else.

A renovated Motel 6 that overlooks a dirt parking lot. The location is great in downtown Pismo and the rooms are updated and clean. I would much rather stay next door at the Inn At The Pier with ocean views. The Beachcomber shoud be half the price of the Inn At The Pier for what you get.
Located along 5 acres of Pismo Beach sands, this oceanfront hotel features a pool and 3 hot tubs with views over the water. Free Wi-Fi and a continental breakfast are also available.

Pismo Beach was nice, but the Edgewater hotel was too crowded, the parking was really crammed, and the area looked a little scary. I thought it would be nicer. The bed was very lumpy and lopsided and uncomfortable.
If things go wrong and you don’t arrive early enough and miss most of your first night, don’t expect any niceness from the hotel staff and getting a late check out like you would at other hotels. They do not care!

North Pismo Beach, including Shell Beach Cove area, and Avila Beach (just north of Pismo) are very nice for walking and sightseeing. Avila Beach has a very long interesting history. Downtown Pismo traffic was bad and the old town area might seem "funky" classic beach to some.

Love the beach and pier, small downtown with shops, easy access from highway.
It's also 10-15 minutes from Avila Beach, Madonna Inn, and San Luis Obispo. It's 50 minutes from Solvang. Paso Robles (with Sensorio) are also pretty close. Morro Bay and Montana de Oro park with cool hikes are around 40 minutes away. It's just a great location to get some beach views and explore the area.

This is a charming little town with lots of shops and restaurants right at the beach. I'd say that there's enough to do downtown in one day, and then another day you can explore explore nearby. a weekend is perfect.
Because we stayed at the Pismo Beach hotel. We would go out how breakfast at the cafe. Right next door walk around and look at the shops. Go to the beach, call my quebec to the hotel rest and then go back out to try one of the restaurants..

Pismo Beach is a great area to stay as there are many small cities both inland and on the coast that are worth visiting. If you are an ocean beach lover as I, this is the perfect place for your vacation.
Where to start? Great location, great rooms, great pool, great hot tub, great firepits! The only dissapointment was that we could only spend one night here.
It is really a lovely hotel, welcoming and comfortable.
To sit on the terrace, with a glass of wine, around a fire pit, overlooking the sea, watching the many, many pelicans that sit on the cliff edge was just wonderful!
Its a short a walk into town where there are plenty of bars and restaurants and the beautiful beach can be accessed directly (downwards) from the hotel.
OMG do not stay here. This place is a dump. It stunk so bad in our room. They try to disguise the odor with bleach. The walls are filthy. You can see urine from animals on the carpet because it is pet friendly. The walls are super thin. The people next to us were up all night, talking and doing their thing. The parking lot is extremely small. The lines are not wide enough. Therefore, everyone parks extremely close. We got two new car door. Ding dents on our brand new car.
this hotel is not cheap for being a dump!!
The location is the real star of this hotel. It is right on the water with views of the ocean crashing into the beautiful cliffs in Pismo! We had an Oceanfront King Room and our view every morning from our room was well worth the price of the room. We also had a small balcony that was nice to soak in the views from. They also provided free water bottles with a refilling station in the lobby which was a nice touch. The room and bathroom were spacious. There is a microwave and fridge in the room.
We stayed in room 117 which had a full kitchen with fridge microwave oven and all dishes. View from our front porch and window inside room was amazing. Overlooking the water and you could see down to the pier. Amazing views. Love this room so much we will definitely be returning. Also bathroom was remolded which was very nice. Private room off by itself. Well it’s attached to two other rooms but very private for a hotel. Loved it very much
This hotel was so much better than we expected. The staff were so friendly and helpful. There was even the offer of a free shuttle bus to the pier. Facilities were great with a free drink at happy hour and a wonderful breakfast for free! The room was very big with separate lounge area. Some of the cupboards looked a bit worn but it really didn’t matter. We really enjoyed this hotel. More impressed than we thought we would be.
Breakfast was a big improvement on the morning fare in other hotels because there were options that were low sugar, wholemeal bread was available and the coffee was good.
The view in the oceanfront room spectacular and worth the extra cost make sure to request a second floor room.
The pool was absolutely gorgeous, heated, supersized and deep.
The location is gorgeous, and this hotel is decently priced for the area. The oceanfront room with fireplace was very nice with outdoor patio and connection by a walkway with 2 other hotel resorts for a nice walk. Fire pits and beautiful gardens. My kids liked the pool. The nice weather helped.
The room was clean and the view was amazing. They accommodated my room request and had a card on the dresser wishing my husband and I a happy anniversary. This is the 2nd stay here in 30 days. I will be coming back again soon. Love this hotel so much.
Great breakfast and deal. Very very crowded one morn but the staff handled all wonderfully. Love how dog friendly the hotel is which is why we have stayed many times. Dog park unfortunately flooded but many areas to otherwise walk.
This place felt more like a home than a hotel would. Fully supplied with just about everything you would need except the food. Perfect. Will return again soon. Would very so recommend.
The beds were comfy and the fire pits on site were nice. The ocean being right there is a plus. The walk path through the hotels over looking the ocean was a great start to my day.
