The Napa Valley is just beautiful place to be.
The Napa Valley is just beautiful place to be. It is best to visit during the week as the traffic can be very bad during the weekend. Also, avoid Napa during the harvest. To get around the valley use the Silverado Trail Road and not the main road. If you want to visit wineries, be sure to have reservations. We ate at Mustards Grill. As always, the food was excellent, but you must have reservations as the Grill is very popular. It is very noisy. Best time to have lunch is after 1:30.

We have been wine tasting to Napa for more than 20 years.
We have been wine tasting to Napa for more than 20 years. This trip was a disappointment because you now have to reserve in advance for wine tasting at a winery and they charge enormous price per person, the cheapest was $40 and it went to $85 per person. We understand that all the tastings are now seated since the after-pandemic and this has some plus and minuses. First it is too expensive to go wine tasting in Napa and second it takes a lot more time for a tasting than if you'd stand up at the bar. We might never go back to Napa. It is so sad but the scenery is as beautiful as it has always been.

I loved Napa and will return.
I loved Napa and will return. Although we stayed in American Canyon, I did not mind driving over to downtown Napa. Only 15 min drive.
I really liked the downtown area. The food was terrific everywhere we ate.
This location is super close to downtown. Breakfast was hot and delicious every day. Coffee was good. Staff from the owner to the housekeeping staff, breakfast serving staff, everyone was super nice and kind and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We stayed in Ms. Tessas room and loved the tub. We danced all night at a concert and it was the best way to wind down after dancing all night.
What a wonderful place! The inn is beautiful, the beds are so comfortable and the breakfast delicious. We are so happy we found the Candlelight Inn. Perfectly situated between downtown Napa and the vineyards it was in just the right location to enjoy everything Napa Valley has to offer. We will definitely stay here on our next trip.
it’s a nice pretty place, our room was small but it was nice to have a small kitchen area, the free parking and free laundry was very useful, it’s about 20-25 minute walk into centre of Napa, we met some lovely people through the tours that are offered through the hotel, the maintenance staff were really friendly and helpful
We stayed for one night only and the hotel served its purpose. It is located outside of Napa centre, but with good access to highways. We liked the breakfast which as for american standards was ok, but of course nothing even close to any other part of the world. Our room was clean and rather spacious, lot of parking space.
Hotel Napa Valley is a restored Victorian with spacious rooms, and ours had a fireplace and spa bathtub. This was the second time we stayed at the hotel and it was as sweet and comfortable as we remember. It's located within walking distance of the main downtown. The breakfast was a hot meal and changes each day.
We stayed at The George last year, a few months after it opened and we were so pleased with the excellence in every way. After getting our tickets for Napa Valley Jazz Festival in August, 2022, we booked right after in early fall to stay at the hotel again. See below for what went wrong!
Breakfast is still good!
Room is very good and comfortable! Hotel inside and outside very new. Staffs were good and receptive. Everywhere in Napa will need car, this hotel is good enough to visit the city and return. The cost is very good regarding the hotels inside the napa city and Yountville city.
Such wonderful, informative staff. Comfy, clean, spacious bedroom and bathroom+bathtub. Peaceful area with lovely views, lovely hot tub, accessible to restaurants and groceries, and ample free parking. Was the best place we stayed during our roadtrip through California.
I arrived after midnight and was greeted with a warm and sincere smile from Julian. Visiting for a wedding, the hotel is close to downtown Napa - Clean, quiet, usb connections for charging all my devices, very friendly staff - Only good things to say.
A truly magical place. It’s is just beautiful, more than clean and even offers snacks and beverages. The owners are lovely and very helpful. The location is a short walk to downtown. Simply on of the best places I have ever stayed at.
If you come to Napa to have fun with friends and family this is a great hotel. Its not a fancy hotel but its perfect. The location its perfect for you to walk to a lot of places and restaurant on Downtown napa. I will stay here again.
The best experience in my trip. The staff is very frendly. Laurice is the best front office manager. Team is great, hotel manager super . Thank you so mush, the best impressions. We will come back for sure.. Recommend 100%
The location was excellent. perfect spot to enjoy downtown Napa. Restaurants and tasting rooms everywhere! Delicious ice cream across the street at Annette’s Chocolates. Rode bikes to Yountville on the Napa Vine Trail.
Close to downtown Napa and situated on a lovely street. Comfy bed and welcome bottle of wine. The breakfasts were outstanding! The breakfast chef was very good and we were impressed with the quality of the food.
The hotel was beautiful and loved the close proximity to downtown. The restaurants onsite were delicious and provided top notch service. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Napa.
The room was comfortable and spacious. It was a short walk to most of downtown Napa and parking was easy and free. I would definitely recommend this for a long weekend getaway.
