My husband was born on Stanford University in 1942. We come back for his HS Reunions. He loves going down memory lane. It is BEAUTIFUL here. The red wood trees magnificent. Great restaurants down Sante Cruz.

The area that we lived in - Haven Avenue is a new area with new buildings in an old industrial building area next to a trailer park and opposite the Porsche showroom for the area. It is great for its space, but not so great without transport (You can uber/lyft, but it can be expensive) There are no eating joints around but postmates, doordash and uber eats deliver. Although I think that the choice was limited given the location

Weather was great, so I walked every morning to Stanford University, about a 40 min walk. Shops and city center are about 10 min walking from hotel.

Spacious, clean, new, super comfortable, has everything one may need. The neighbourhood is safe and close to Palo Alto and Stanford. The host is friendly and welcoming. This is definitely the best stay near Stanford.

Although next to a busier street, it was really quiet inside the hotel and you could get some good rest. The hotel itself is nice.
