Scottsdale was the perfect winter getaway.
Scottsdale was the perfect winter getaway. We enjoyed the Old Town and many restaurants to choose from. Would recommend The Mission, Olive and Ivy and Culinary Dropouts. Make sure when making reservation at Culinary Dropouts that you know there are two locations. We reserved at The Quarter which was further away but still delicious with a fun vibe. Couldn't get in to the closer location on E. Scottsdale as they were fully booked.
Visited the Desert Botanical Gardens, and hiked the Lost Dog Wash trail to the Taliesen Outlook. 5.1 miles with awesome views surrounded by cactii. Too many trails to choose from but Lost Dog is a short drive from any location. Scheduled two hiking days, a spa day and a poolside day and it was just right!

Scottsdale is great place for slow travel.
Scottsdale is great place for slow travel. The streets are not crowded, every venue has complimentary valet, and there's indoor and outdoor adventure. We especially liked ROC the Mic Karaoke in Glendale and Hot Air Balooning in Scottsdale, Toca Madera in Scottsdale, Cala in Scottsdale, and the Phoenician Spa in Scottsdale.

It was unseasonably cold, but we just adjusted - there was plenty of shopping, we did the Phoenix Desert Botanical Gardens, enjoyed so many amazing restaurants, toured Old Town Scottsdale, enjoyed the Fashion Mall and the property was set up so well inside we enjoyed evenings there!

Scottsdale is a nice city and I would recommend it to anyone. Old town Scottsdale (the old part of Scottsdale) you find several modern shops and restaurants as well as a few old ones. It's a nice place to walk or drive around. Several places in the area have free parking. In other parts of Scottsdale you may be able to find more resort style hotels.

There is so much to do in Scottsdale.
There is so much to do in Scottsdale. We ended up going up to Carefree, which was a delightful surprise, but there is plenty of shopping in Scottsdale. It is a beautiful, clean town and we felt very safe (two older women).
The size of the rooms really make this a very comfortable place to stay. We had a lounge room complete with sofa and desk as well as two large beds (3 adults). We loved being able to watch tv on the sofa. Easy walking distance to Old Town with restaurants and shops galore. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and perhaps the best we have had on this month long US trip. I’d definitely be staying here again.
This hotel is a spacious enclosed compound right off Scottsdale Road close to everything. Once you are inside it is practically resort-like, with a fantastic pool as a centerpiece, beautiful landscaping and an aviary (yes, an aviary) to mask neighborhood and traffic noise. Complete mid-century vibe, almost out of a time capsule. Parking is adequate but not secured. Pretty unique place.
1) Landscaping was sooo pretty and pleasant!
2) Bed linens and pillows were the softest, most luxurious of anywhere we have stayed, even high end hotels!!!
3) Shower was nicer than expected and a good size with great water pressure!!!
4) Toiletries were the best of the hotels where we have stayed previously.
5) All but one staff member were so friendly and helpful.
Very modern, immaculate cozy unit in the middle of everything. We were able to walk to shops, galleries and restaurants with ease. Super convenient and charming. The hosts were communicative and answered back to messages quickly and politely. We loooved our stay and would actually choose it again for our next visits to Old Town Scottsdale. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The main bar & restaurant was lively and comfortable with live music (we stayed Friday night). The hotel has lots of orange trees which were in fruit so the scent of orange blossom around the grounds was lovely. On Saturday morning a lot of guests were either hiking Camelback or heading off to play golf. It was a good hotel for families.
Very clean and well appointed suites, large and comfortable.
staff were amazing, special shout out to Gonzales at the front desk for going above and beyond.
free breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and well organized despite it being a full hotel.
location was perfect - east to walk to historic Scottsdale for restaurants and shopping.
The location is great, near old Town Scottsdale, the amenities were great for our kids as well (pool, tennis courts, mini golf, etc) it would have been nice to have more kids movies.
The kitchen in our room had everything we needed, all the pots and utencils looked brand new, this was great for a long stay with a 4 yo and a 6 mo baby.
I was looking for a boutique hotel on beautiful property with attention to detail and be spoke delivered on all fronts . I only stayed for one night but the property is beautiful, room is well appointed , and it is a short walking distance to the sights in town . This was the perfect location to wrap up my birthday trip .
Room was spacious and very clean, bed was very comfortable, staff was very helpful, excellent location, breakfast was excellent. Excellent hotel and with a good value for paid money. I can only say positive things about this hotel. I enjoyed staying here and will be back if I come back to Scottsdale.
The hotel has a great location close to the Scottsdale old town, food places, and the Museum of the West.
The room was clean, and the beds were comfy. I liked the nice interior design as well as little details outside of the room.
Breakfast was normal but I’ve been many good hotel not comparing and very sample the bed and pillow was not comfortable, the rugs was very dirty, and they didn’t change our towels after we told them two times and many …
Great location just on the edge of Old Town Scottsdale. Love the retro feel of the hotel - super comfy bed. Staff was very prompt about getting us different pillows to suit our comfort.
The pools were amazing. The quiet one off to the side felt like a mini oasis with the beautiful fountain in the back. Hotel had lots of character and was in a great location.
