We saw the Legacy Museum.
We saw the Legacy Museum. It was a once in a lifetime experience. We got to meet Bryan Stevenson--The visionary behind the museum and the figure the movie "Just Mercy" chronicled. He was personable and made himself available for a one-hour Q & A session. His work is phenomenal and a must-experience for all those interested in tracing the roots of slavery as well as the experiences of the disenfranchised in the criminal justice system!!! We were not able to visit the Rosa Parks museum and the other sites. We will return in September to see the rest of Alabama!!!

Montgomery Alabama Is a Beautiful place but I would never recommend the Sunrise Extended Stay The location was great but the room they reserved was ridiculous just wasn't suitable at all just look like a place for prostitution, the person didn't show customer service at all didn't try to fix the situation, the place needs to be completely renovated it was like they just took my money and that was it, they had the lobby all locked up you couldn't enter the lobby area to see the facility it really made me feel like every time i reserve a room, I need to see the room first before I pay.

I love Montgomery we come there often.
I love Montgomery we come there often. The reason was the Extended Stay which is now Home 1. The Hotel is totally different when it comes to cleanliness. Cooking utensils, plates and silverware used to provided because we prepared our meals in the room. The only thing available was 1 pot 1 fork 1 plate. We had to eat out because of the lack of cooking utensils plates and the like. There were roaches, we had to sleep with the lights on

For 160$ save your time and money and go two blocks past this terrible place and get your self a nice room and stay for the same cost if not less, I will never return to this business. TERRIBLE experience, and the "breakfast" is a load of crap and the wifi sucks too
Very convenient location in downtown Montgomery located a few feet down the street from the Equal Justice Initiative’s office, Hank Williams Museum, and popular restaurants. The Legacy Museum is walking distance. The hotel’s complimentary breakfast bar was nice. Interaction with one staff member was unprofessional and combative. However, other staff members, attempted to assuage the negative interaction and provide an accommodating guest experience.
Price included buffet breakfast and dinner as well as complimentary WiFi and drinks.
The staff was friendly, responsive and efficient. Everything everywhere was very clean with fresh inviting smells. The Fitness Center was always accessible by your keycard and the facility was very secure, requiring keycards to access. Its location right off I85 was perfect. Absolutely an excellent place to stay while visiting Montgomery.
The rooms are unique, very spacious, clean and well designed. The staff are very professional and very friendly. The breakfast was well stocked with many options. Loved the sausage biscuits! The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the downtown area and restaurants via walking. There is limited parking near the front entrance but many parking spaces elsewhere.
My family and I love this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are soft and comfy. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast along with snacks at check-in are just accommodation for a traveling family. Best hotel stay in Montgomery hands down!
This hotel was very very clean. You could tell they go the extra Mike and pay attention to detail when cleaning and setting the room up for next guests. The staff's customer service was over the top. I can't say enough about the beds, slept so good!
I stayed at that property last year and was very impressed. Fantastic accommodations and staff very friendly. Breakfast is better than most restaurants in the area. Easy accessibility to the Hotel right off I-65 and close to downtown and Airport.
I made the reservations to attend my 50th yr. Golden Graduation from Alabama State University. The hotel was located minutes away from the University. The Staff was congenial and very courteous. The complimentary cookies were great!!
Very clean, It was our nephew's wedding weekend, so it was very close to their wedding venue, the 1616 House, and close access to downtown where we attended a graduation as well. Tonja, was so polite and helpful to us during our stay.
The breakfast was good.It even offered Conecuh Sausage which is made in my hometown of Evergreen, Alabama. But I would like to make a suggestion that the hotel offer turkey or beef sausage for those of us that don't eat pork.
Easily accessible from the highway. Property is within a seemingly quiet residential area. Shower worked. Easy to get to downtown Montgomery. Had a large flat screened TV. Parking at rear of property.
