Also check out the live-music scene, had a great experience going out to their live-music bars/ open mic gig and it was high level. Not much to see, just quite a lot of beatiful grafiti, some vintage "ascensors". Beaches are quite far away. But the city itself is downright filthy and not very safe. Many locals told us. Some MF took my girlfriend's cell phone and ran away. I chased him and got the phone back, but when I caught him he reached under the t-shirt probably holding a gun. Valparaíso is a beautiful place with very nice streets with loads of art. It’s has also nice beaches quite close. If you enjoy being on a beach a few days, it’s a good place for a few days more. If you don’t like to spend days at the beach, 2 days are enough, in my opinion. The Restaurant „la casa verde“ was my favorite restaurant. The food and the pisco sour have been very delicious and the staff was very kind.

Filthy, dirty and smelly port town and not at all what I had imagined and hoped for. New Year's Eve there was special with the concert and fireworks but apart from that , there's nothing there.
