Small town with a wonderful little OldTown part. I especially like that there is not too many tourists and that you can both enjoy the town beach just as the wild rocky beaches where you have more privacy! I would recommend Lovranski Pub and Delfino for GREAT meal! The walk road by the see - LungoMare give you a huge pleasure by the sea from Lovran to Volosko! Lovran is an amazing place, place of historical and natural...
Lovran is an amazing place, place of historical and natural abundance. The only problem are the roads and basic infrastructure after beautiful promenade in Opatija and Lovran. The cars are driving like there is MonteCarlo, without any consequences or fines, and as a walker going to the beach, you are not considered. Simply, there is no basic traffic lights, sidewalks and you can easily get killed there if not careful enough when passing the main street. Well cared for, seafront although lacking sandy beach is well equipped in terms of terraces and steps leading into the sea with handrails to provide assistance. Also well positioned for visiting other locations. We. Visited Rijeka and the island of Krk.

Just as foretold, a bit smaller, a bit less fancy version of Abbazia / Opatija. The sea is the same :-) Also vey nice villas and apartments, the Lungo Mare is stretching all the way till here. Good food. Old Town is really old and authentic. Depressingly narrow streets, pedestrians only.

The rest of the hotel was built in a similar way - many full size windows/doors including in the restaurant. The room itself was q good size as was the bathroom. The women managing the hotel were very pleasant and helpful - very customer service oriented. and, the hotel provides a very generous breakfast that kept us going until late in the day.

We enjoyed the location and ambience so much we extended our stay. The villa is set on the water. Each morning we enjoyed breakfast with an ocean vista. Access to the promenade is right below the villa. You can easily stroll along the water to Lovran or to Opatija. It was more than just a place to sleep. It was a place infused with history and art. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

BUT! the apt is a few min walk from the old town/port up on the hill. the terrace faces to a green jungle, full of singing birds. It is also close to the route leading to the Ucka national park which is astonishing such as the promenad bw Lovran and Opatija. The apt is spacious, clean, well-equipped. The cat was shy at first but she warmed up and accepted belly rubs. Over all a nice room with great parking in the shade, they also have a car wash and mens hair salon. Room came with a balcony and an ashtray, as a welcome there is instant coffee and tea in the room. The bathroom is shared. Would recommend and return.AljošaSlovenia

Wilma is very friendly and we could communicate without problem in German. The house is very comfortable, silent and have everything we needed to prepare our meals. Nearby there is a big supermarket and you can reach the beach and restaurants by feet: some hills up and down but that is very healthy :)
