Lovely thing, just the prizes. Raised of 70 - 100 % from last year. Mandatory couvert in restaurants. Tons of people, many of them groups from Germany, wasted from the morning, shouting and behaving obscene. Not sure if I would honor that hellhole by my presence.

Hard to find parking in the center even outside of tourist season. The mini zoo, just outside the town is a great destination, especially for kids. The upside-down house is not really worth the hype but fun to see. The quay is well maintained, but most of the restaurants, and other contents are closed during winter.

A nice small town in the vicinity of Lake Balaton, not to busy in October, the town has a water tower which you can go to the top off by elevator for fine views of the surrounding areas. There are plenty of places to eat with good restaurants in abundance.

The property is in the centre but you can park your car at the back of the hotel for a small fee per day. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from, and even more within a short walk into the town itself. We choose to go slightly before the 'holiday' season starts and can imagine it could get quite lively at peak times. Always a nice atmosphere and very close to the lake (Balaton) itself if you fancy a boat trip. Looking forward to going back to same hotel yet again..
