Although it's not easy to understand from description we were staying in separate villa. It gives you enough privacy. It is very nice stone house, modernly equipped with beautiful pool of 4x6m (please take this as assumption only). On ground floor there is a bathroom (with shower), kitchen (I would say fully equipped with big fridge, oven, microwave and number of appliances for coffe or toast), small living area and bedroom with 2 separate beds. On 1st floor it is underroof room with king size bed and bathroom (with shower). Outside is nice sitting area (under the roof, so it is in the shade) with barbecue place and pool. It absolutely met expectation of my family.

George and the staff were very accommodating. we arrived very late yet someone was there to greet us. the shower was fantastic - the best we had on our trip. breakfast was very good too. close to food, shops and the beach.

Great view from balcony, there was a lift to help with luggage up 4 stories. My family of 5 (kids 9,7, & 6) fit comfortably with plenty of space for everyone. The people working there were nice and helpful. There was a pool, but we didn’t use it but it looked nice. Very convenient to town, beaches, restaurants, grocery stores etc.

In September, Vasiliki is quiet, chilled and everything is still open but apparently, is very busy and lively July/August. Plenty of wind surfing, snorkelling. paddle boarding and diving from which to choose or car and bicycle hire are also available. Daily direct ferries from the harbour to Fiskado (Kefalonia); for a visit or onward journey. Plenty of good sea food restaurants around the harbour, in the town and on Ponti beach (sandy) which is a fifteen minute walk around the bay from Vasiliki beach (pebbles). A visit to Lefkada Town (an hour away by bus for about 3 euros) can be reached travelling through some wonderful scenery.BryanUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

My first review where i gave the property 1 Star(1 Smiley Face) was based on my initial impression of the property when we arrived. We were greeted by an extremely friendly Manager Stellios who seemed to be run off his feet and the only person trying to do "everything"-run the Bar ,man the Reception, answer multiple questions from guests etc.etc. When we arrived in the room the toilet roll was falling off the wall,the light in the bathroom was not working and the sink plug was jammed. l went down stairs and asked Stellios if he could kindly be able to fix the problems with the room-he told me he would get on it right away and over the next few days(3 days) they were gradually fixed. My review was based on the problems with the room,NOTHING else. The room was extremely clean and tidy and the staff were super friendly. l think Stellios an extremely likable and friendly guy but he needs a dedicated Reception person to book guests in and handle any inquiries or concerns they may have-basically he is overworked and trying to do everything at the detriment of his wonderful Hotel. It is for the reasons above i am amending my initial initial review to 4 Stars from the original 1 Star.MichaelAustralia - 10Scored 10
Really liked the layout of the town.
Really liked the layout of the town. I liked the wide paved pathway along the seafront. Very pleasant to stroll along, particularly in the evening. A good selection of restaurants and bars. Really good location for those who like windsurfing or other watersports as there is a pleasant breeze. Beautiful mountains all around. Some amazing beaches nearby -Porto Katsiki, can be reached by car or boat, Efimea can only be reached by boat . Both have shale and sand . You need to bring your own sun shade very few facilities on the beach.

Vasiliki is located at the end of a valley full of olive trees, lemons and other specific Mediterranean vegetation, surrounded by spectacular mountains, which offer peace and a relaxing view. The beach, consisting of both pebbles and sand, is long and borders a very picturesque bay to the north, with calm and shallow water, ideal for water sports. Along the beach and in the harbor there are numerous taverns, restaurants and souvenir shops. Another advantage is the proximity to the other points of attraction on the island, both from the eastern side (Nidri port, with cruise departures) and the western beaches (Porto Katsiki, Egremni).PaulRomania - 10Scored 10

The centre is lovely with many shops and restaurants. We ate at a wood oven pizza restaurant on the harbour which was very nice, really good pizza. We also ate at a gyro place also really good near harbour and can recommend bakery across from BP garage, look out for the horse at the garage. The place is really nice and Nikos and his family keep it sparkly clean. We had also a pool at our discretion in a small garden which made the delight for our kids. Niko's mother will make you the best breakfast ever, full of goodies. We actually had to tell Nikos not to have so many things for breakfast as we could not eat all of them. :) Nikos and his family are really nice people and they will make you feel like at home, but also in holiday.

Vassiliki beach is ideal for children. So that too is a plus.
