Kardamena is a charming and friendly fishing village. Lots of wonderful restaurants and bars to choose from. The locals are very helpful and friendly . Our favourite place during day was the beach coast close to...
Our favourite place during day was the beach coast close to the bar Noa, because comfortable sunbeds, easy access to the sea, less people. The part of beach near the hotel I used only for regular morning swimming. During day it was uncomfortable for us because sunbeds was not able to move to the shadow, it was too narrow space for all beds. I learned that it is very easy to get to the hotel from the airport by public bus. There is no need to rent a car or travel by taxi. Also rent a car in the town is more cheaper then online rent a car.

Restaurants were plenty but generally much the same, Sun beds were free on the beach, with beach service for food and drink, (in October) I don’t know about the rest of the Summer, very Brits abroad.

Stay at Mina Studios in Kardamena! Have a coffee and croissant next to the supermarket on the square! Go for a dinner to lovely restaurant called Avli! Rent a motorbike and go explore Paradise beach, Kefalos and see the sunset at Marmari! Take a motorbike or sunset tour to Zia and have a wonderful dinner in one of the restaurants with a sunset view there! Go for a stroll to Kos Town, see the ruins, harbour, castle, Hippocrates platan etc., shop souvenirs, eat at Mama's kitchen! Take a bus to Therma from Kos Town and enjoy the beautiful thermal bath, sunbake at the beach and enjoy!LuciaSlovakia - 10Scored 10
Kardemena is a lovely friendly village.
Kardemena is a lovely friendly village. Safe for solo travellers. Plenty of lovely restaurants and bars. Not a party town at all. Lots of boat trips, car and buggy hire places. A lovely harbour to look at night or day from the many restaurants and bars facing it. It has 2 beaches. One aligned with a few beach bars/restaurants and the other very quiet. Plenty of little shops to dander around and enough supermarkets and mini markets for all your essentials. It is a place full of peace and relaxation, where you can enjoy life completely carefree. The location right on the crystal clear Aegean Sea is just as fantastic as the beautiful nature, the wonderful garden, the comfortable apartments with great sea view and the very nice and hospitable owner Nikos. And all this only a few steps away from the wonderful beach... We love being there.

The thematic night food was not necessarily authentic, but it was delicious.
