It is great place, people are firendly, food is wonderfull (the best after Turkish ;-)) beaches are beatifull. The only thing is VERY crawded. If you go to beaches late (afternoon) you can not find a sun bed even. Some beaches are very tight designed. Sun bed prices differs from free (as you spend anything) up to 60 euro for set. If you don't like a crowded area, than I would definitely not recommend Kallithea and Kassandra in general. The entertainment available in the city center's are very old school and not really fun. The beach is too narrow but the water is always warm. Too many stairs to reach the beach. The resort has many closed stores and taverns and in some places it looks like after the war. Gorgeous beach and lovely location in general. Some of the resorts are closed down (pandemic?) so probably less tourism than usual and it's not crowded at all. Feels like an undiscovered gem. There are signs of nightlife with a number of clubs near Kallithea. They open at 11.MadeleineUnited Kingdom

They will show you places on the map where what is located in the city and in the whole of Halkidiki. They will describe beaches, cafes, restaurants, cruises and everything you need. The 2 AC units can cool down the appartment in a couple of minutes. 2 tvs. The pool has partly some shade from the building which is great if you want to avoid sunburn. The staff was really nice and provided us with everything required. The hotel is very close to city center and near the beach. We could easily walk towards center restaurants and towards the beach.
