Agia Marina’s Main Street is filled with coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, souvenir shops….Its 15-20 mins walk to neighbouring Platanias. The beach in Agia Marina is nice but but there are so many others to explore. Loutraki beach is picturesque and Falasarna waters has beautiful shades of blue. The water is a little cooler but so inviting. Visit the Old Port. There are a variety of things to do. Take a stroll through the alley way streets or dance the night away.

I thought Agia Marina was really nice, quiet a busy town, wall to wall restaurants and busy main road. If you are going to The Seagull Hotel by car, it can be very difficult to find (there are very few sign posts) you should look for the a garage SILK OIL red sign post along the main road, that's where you turn off , the Seagull is behind the garage.

The host was very kind and friendly. The hotel is well located right next to the Agia Marina Beach, gas station, restaurants and supermarkets, 15 min away from Chania old town and a 1.30h trip from Elafonisi and Balos. Inside the hotel you have a lovely rooftop and a small pool if you wish to relax. Our room was exactly as depicted in the photos. Very clean and decorated with in amazing greek fashion. We spent a really good time in Crete and are looking forward to return one day and hopefully we will choose the Seagull again :)

This is a perfect place for a summer holiday! The hotel has a great location. It is next to the beach and also it is only 10km to the Chania. There is a good public transport from Chania to the hotel and the bus stop is just infront the hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfort. There is a big outdoor swimming pool. The owners and the staff are amazing. They are very hospitable. The food is amazing. I would definitely recommend the hotel for a perfect holiday and would be happy to book it again.

Really nice and cosy hotel. Friendly staff. Close to good restaurants and shops and the beach. Had air-conditioning but did not use it much as the room stayed quite cool the whole time. The view from the balkong was amazing and as I had afternoon sun it was nice to enjoy the breakfast there in the morning. There was a small supermarket just across the street so it was easy to get some snacks from there. There was a fridge, a microwave oven, coffee machine and kettle in the room which was nice.

Good hospitality, kindness, and sincerity in dealing as if you were among your friends and family who love you. The location is excellent, close to bars, the market, and the bus stop to the city center, and the food is good and varied. The hotel manager, Anna, is an angel from heaven. She treats customers with kindness, love, and kindness. She is professional and experienced, Anastasia from the reception is more than wonderful and so are all the staff, thanks to them.

We were in Elia Agia during the wedding of our friends. The hotel is very small, comfortable for 3-4 nights. The breakfast was tasty and fresh. There was a good choice of different types of breakfast. Staff always helpful and happy to help anytime. They were giving fresh towels everyday and also they offered a shuttle from the airport. To Chania city centre it's around 40min. I didn't see any public transport there, so it's good to have a car or motorbike.

One of the best hotel in the area, that's what really made this place was the staff, the whole team could not do enough for you, waiters, reception, cleaners and bar staff. I have never been to a hotel where they have been so attentive. Thanks also to the amazing chefs and kitchen staff, the food is excellent, varying every lunch/evening, the salads were amazing, excellent traditional Greek food and international food. I would definitely return!

The room itself was really nice, renovated, electronic doors, mykonian style, nice mattress, all 4 pillows too soft for me but it was ok, clean (most important), beautiful view at the sea. Bottle of wine was in the room along with 2 bottles of water in the fridge. They provide beach towels, robes and also AMAZINGLY soft sleepers (grey colored that i loved). In general very nice hotel a little bit overpriced though.

We had a blast at Meliades Villas. The grounds, pool and view are top notch! Haris was an outstanding host and made us feel at home with his generosity and warm demenour. He takes a lot of pride in his Villas and it shows. The location is a perfect home base to explore some of Western Crete's amazing attractions like Balos, Elafanosi and Samara Gorge.
