Most tourist didn't know that Cappadocia and Gerome is at Kayseri. I already promote to my friends to come and visit Kayseri city centre. There is a lot of interesting places to visit and delicious Turkish Food like pashtirma and manti. In Kayseri also, got village that under UNESCO.
If you want to play skii or snowboarding, it much cheaper to play at Mount Erciyes. We really enjoy it.

Great Skiing for all levels and all the members of the family. Excellent Emergency Services at the Skiing Resort and the Kayseri Arastrıma Hastanesi ( Kayseri Goverment Research Hospital ) was very good. People in Kayseri are very friendly and they have an amazing Skiing school run by the Municipality with affordable lessons and equipment for beginners of all ages. 7 Year old boy dropped him off at 13:00 and picked him at 16:00 skis ski boots, helmet, ski passes provided by the Skiing school for 4 days was around 350 TL. Pastırma was excellent. The food was nice. Very happy with Kayseri and its not very far from the Magical Land of Fairy Chimneys of Ürgüp; Göreme, Capadoccia. Amazing balloon rides for the family. A lot of fun. We look forward to going back at the first opportunity. I do not think there are any "ok" restaurants in Kayseri, they were all fantastic. the bread tastes very nice.

This is a very nice place to stay if you're going to ski at Erciyes or visit Kappadokya.
I strongly recommend going to Goreme as it's fantastically beautiful! And, of course, try winter sports at Erciyes!

Nice and cheap place to go for visiting Cappadocia and mount Erciyes skiing. The skiing rental was very cheap, we spend around £30 for two people for everything including ski rentals and ski lift. Locals are very friendly and helpful but barely speak english, so have a translate app always handy.

Kayseri is a nice city and as I was visiting Erciyes
University communication from the Radison Blu
was very quick because I could catch the subway just by 3 to 4 minute walk.
Fruits in Kayseri that I like most, particularly
yellow cherry, oh it was simply delicious and the plentiful fruit I used to eat after my dinner at Radidon Blu is simply awesome, I loved it!

Kayseri is a very modern city, it is a city of hard-working people who are friendly and welcoming. It is not a "tourist" city as such, although it is a staging point for many tourists heading into Cappadocia. The old fort and the local market area are worth visiting, and there are several nice mosques worth seeing too.
I was really there just to relax , and to do a bit of shopping and Kayseri is an ideal place to do both. Being outside of the usual tourist areas, prices are more in line with local prices and some good bargains are to be found.
My visit coincided with Ramadan, so it was not really the ideal time to go out wining and dining as such, but let me just say that I did not starve during my visit. At any other time, there is no shortage of good restaurants to chose from.
- Location: extremely close to bus stop, where transfers to Erciyes Ski Center start (inter-city bus to Develi). Kayseri downtown is also in a walking distance.
- Staff: absolutely hospitable and helpfull. There wasn't a request they didn't help with.
- Heating: it was always warm in the room. Hot water available 24/7.
It's a decent hotel with everything you need to spend a few nights in Kayseri. It's relatively close (15 minute walk) to the city centre and in the vicinity of the central railway station. The breakfast was decent, the staff friendly and professional. I did enjoy the view of Mount Erciyes from my hotel window.
The great modern hotel. It is very convenient that on the first floor there is great restaurant Big Chef, we usually visit this cafe in Antalya. The hotel also has great internet connection that's very rare for Turkey. The room is comfortable, perfect soundproofing, excellent bed.
The hotel is close to the train station, which was a plus since we were planning to arrive by train late in the night. The room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds after a very long train ride. The staff was able to accommodate a later than expected arrival.
Nice hotel with great service and the location is in the city centre. You can walk or take the bus/metro for cumhuriyet meydani. A grocery store nearby which is 24/7 open. Hotel has a great view and a park nearby so you can take a night walk and sit in the park.
For a £30 hotel you get amazing comfort, great rooms, wonderful staff, and a central location about 10 minutes from the airport.
Rooms feel designed with comfort and security in mind.
If you're looking for an equivalent it's a Premier Inn or a Travelodge.
If you are looking to stay close to the airport it’s a great location, in the Avenue just 10min away. We also asked for an extra blanket that was provided to us with no problem, and the room and bed sheets were clean.
The fact that the airport was so close by before our flight. No close restaurants around for a quick bite as the restaurants are closed between 3-7pm however the young gentleman managed to get us some food at 7pm.
Steam room, sauna and swimming pool were not so bad. But plumbing in shower needed service. Restaurant on roof has picturesque view and good meal offer, but it rather expensive
