Amazing history, cuisine and exploring the old town is a fascinating experience. Friendly people always welcoming to visitors and interested in hearing what you think of their city. The old market is similarly a great place to spend time exploring while the archeological museum does a great job of bringing Antakya's ancient and diverse history to life.

Antakya is a gorgeous city with one of the best museums in the country. It is so far my favorite city in Turkey! As a solo traveler I feel very safe here, do not get hassled, no one is being pushy and trying to sell me things. Plus the food here is possibly the best I have ever had- in all of my travels!!! I can't wait to go back.

To the old church of Sankt Peter and the new Museum you need to take a taksi. The glass museum was ok but hard to find. The old basaar (called uzun carsi)was a visit worth. We had a turkish breakfast (called serpme kahvalti) at Antakya Sultan sofrasi kahvialte evi (beyazit street no.1). It was very good and located in one of the old houses. If you are interested in old things Nostalji Cafe may be a visit worth.
this hotel is in the heart of the city. walk in distance to a lot of places. everyone is so friendly. we definitely felt like staying in our own home. Fatih , Serap , everyone working at the hotel are extremely kind and helpful. the owner of the hotel Esra Hanim is so kind. the place is spotless. the breakfast is exquisite. I highly recommend this place. very safe. also if you need a guide the hotel provides this service for you with a charge. our guide Hasan Bey was one of a kind. we love Antakya and it’s people:)
The hotel is well located in the old center of Antakya. Our room was very clean, nicely decorated, very comfortable and had a small bathroom with shower. The inner garden of the hotel is very beautiful and you will enjoy a very delicious breakfast. The staff was also very helpful with finding a parking, which is quite difficult in the city center, and was very friendly and hospitable.
It is on the main heavy traffic thoroughfare, but there is a reserved parking lot for the guests in the back of the hotel. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The room is decorated with traditional luxury, very atmospheric. You can walk to the main business street and river side. Antakya museum and St. Pierre church is about 2.5 kilometers away.
Great and cosy hotel in the city center. Big room with a city view, bed was great, nice bed lights, spacious bathroom. A lot of complimentary things, such as slippers, coffee, tea, water ...valet parking and professional and polite staff (spoke both english and arabic). There is a market and a bunch of shops and restaurants up and down the street.
beautiful hotel with excellent architecture. we were amazed with the museum view and findings exposed on the ground. kind staff, comfortable beds and clean room. we ate in the restaurant inside called Ayan Meyan. food was delicious and our waitress was very polite and helpful. we enjoyed the spa facilities including hammam and massage.
Pros:
-convenient location close by main attractions (cafe/pubs/nice narrow streets for photoshoot just across the street, very close to hatay museum, museum hotel, and St. Pierre by car)
-nice, clean room and hotel restaurant
-very helpful and nice staff
-nice breakfast
-good wifi in the room
The location of the hotel is perfect if you plan to visit the city center. The staff was very helpful and always with a smile. The rooms were clean and conformable and the breakfast delicious. Thank you to all the staff that made our stay perfect.
Everything was perfect! Amazing staff, wonderful breakfast, lovely room (plus they upgraded me on my last night) and Antakya is an incredible city. The hotel and city are my favorite destinations in Turkey so far, after 5 weeks of heavy travel.
Sevgi at the reception was amazing in helping me get a PCR test the day before my flight back to the US. The nurse came to the hotel in the morning and I had my results that night.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are well decorated and super clean. The location is perfect, it’s at the center of Hatay. We enjoyed our stay a lot.
