Beautiful views. Villas Romaines and the Roman grounds is a must to visit as is the port. Only small downfall was that were wasn’t aware that we had to pay for parking everywhere and so the car got clamped and cost us 30 dinar…

Sidi Bou Said, Tunisia, was an amazing place to stay.
Sidi Bou Said, Tunisia, was an amazing place to stay. The town's vibrant blue and white architecture, delicious food, and friendly people made it a truly memorable experience. I also enjoyed seeing the many street cats that were a part of the town's charm.

A beautiful little town, full of local charm, everything you need is within walking distance, cheap public transport. Its an extremely safe and hospitable place with very friendly people. My partner could walk around at night, enjoying the warm nights (in december),feeling safe while, she enjoyed feeding the beautiful cats that roam the streets. We both work from home, so it was important to have a good quality internet, and the WiFi was of great quality and very reliable.

liked the vibe, the white & blue buildings
liked the vibe, the white & blue buildings
But did not like how persistent shop assistants can get.
My favourite place was Le Villa Blue & Ben Rahim Cafe
I ate pasta
Very easy to get around Sidi Bou Saiid
On my next visit, I would avoid going when hot season started.

This is a moment in time that grows better and better: a retreat from a 100 years ago for artists and intellectuals and Tunisians who prize the mountain top view of the bay and the city below, the white and blue houses, and the quiet. It has its own rewards and none of the rush or noise found in similar such places. It's a gem that has yet to be ruined.

Sidi Bou Said is a Unesco village located on top of a cliff, hence the view from the terrace of the property. and there is always a light breeze, much appreciated in high temperature. It is full of character, quiet and quaint. It is pedestrianised. Tends to be busy with tours and in the evenings with locals coming for fresh air, but that's part of the atmosphere.
Transport is also good - the train at the bottom of the hill goes to Tunis for shopping in the Medina or La Marsa for good beaches.
There is a well-stocked supermarket at the bottom of the hill.
The location was just perfect for us as it was close to the centre of Sidi Bou Said and also very close to the University of Carthage where we had work commitments. The house is beautiful, very spacious, well decorated with a lovely outside dining area on the roof. The area is safe and there are many restaurants and bars at walking distance, a supermarket is at 10 minutes walk. The added value to the apartment is the owner Raouf, very kind and friendly and always available for assistance. The apartment has for sure a good value for money.
Spacious, well-appointed and stylish house in a quiet street of Sidi Bou Saïd. Most comfortable bed and perfect bathrooms. The kitchen was just a pleasure - all working well and the hosts had prepared breakfast in the fridge. The hosts thought of everything a traveller would appreciate. Heating ( central heating) is efficient and washing machine is provided. Parking is easy and safe. Honestly the most beautiful house I found in Tunisia during my long trip. I will certainly be back. Thanks !
Beautiful mansion
-style hotel with very stylish and modern interior. The owner and the staff were super helpful with any need we had. The location is very convenient when you plan to visit the arcgeological sites of carthage (ca 30min by foot) or the medina of Sidi Bou Saïd (ca. 10 min by foot). After visiting the sites, don't forget to try the indoor pool and Hammam. We enjoyed the time here so much, especially the amazing breakfast
It was such a great choice to stay at this house. We loved everything about it..the neighborhood, the distance from the village of Sidi Bou Said (just 10 minutes walking), the kindness and support of the owner. The apartment was clean, we had breakfast with fresh bread from the local bakery and hot water. The view from the roof is perfect. Beji is a very good guy who cares about his hosts. Thanks again for your attention!!!
Mouhib was extremely nice & generous. He picked me up & returned me to Tunis, showed me around Sidi Bou Said & Carthage and was kind enough to by coffee, breakfast, and EVEN loaned me some dinar at the louage station when I was short. I was also able to do laundry there, which was a huge bonus after more than a week if traveling!
The property was well located within Sidi Buou Said but off the main walkway so it was very quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ubiquitous for Tunisia - good and adequate. Bed was comfortable and the room was warm despite the fact the weather was turning colder and it was raining.
The apartment was spotlessly clean and provided everything we needed for a short stay incl. some groceries for breakfast. Youssef was always communicating and available for any questions. the location is superb. Restaurants and groceries are easily available within a short walk. we felt very comfortable.
The location is the best if you are looking to be in the center of the cute village of Sidi Bou Said. This village has a Greek look to it.
The landlord was really great and was very welcoming and nice. He was really kind and made the difference for sure in term of great service.
Old and beautiful villa in the middle of Sidi Bou Said. Beautiful rooms which are warm even in the middle of winter. The host was very responsive and helpful. We were able to pay in advance by bank transfer. Parking was possible in front of the villa.
Clean, modern and bright. We spent 5 nights and would go back in a heartbeat. The property is located in the heart of Sidi Bou Saïd and has amazing sunset views over Tunis. The staff was incredibly attentive and everything about our stay was perfect.
Lovely place, very close to Sidi bou said centre but also 15 mins bolt journey to Tunis and carthage. The owners were very helpful. The flat had everything we needed, we made breakfast at the flat every day almost. I recommend this place
The location is nice just off the main street of Sidi bou said. The host family is very kind and helpful! Nicely furnished. Great Wi-Fi. Lovely place on a quieter street to get away from the buzz, with an orange tree outside :)
staying in Olivia guest house was more wonderful than I expected and the hosts were extremely helpful. I felt as if I am at home.. I am looking forward to go Tunisia again and staying in the same place. Thank you Eya&Abbes
